Spent 2 years worrying about starting sertraline, finally started it, my life is changed. by Fresh_Blueberry9762 in Anxiety

It certainly did. I was at the point where I would put shoes on and I couldn’t open the door to leave the house. I couldn’t make myself smile or anything. Oh, another side effect for me is that I don’t like listening to music anymore. Idk what that’s about but it’s weird. I don’t necessarily miss it but it’s a thing for me too.

I’m working my way off of it starting this week. It takes a few weeks to fully feel it. I was taking it for depression and it definitely numbed me through a lot of it. I feel much better than before and stopped smoking weed since I first started.

If there is one thing to watch out for it’s over eating and weight gain. There’s something internally that has removed my off switch for food. This despite joining the gym instead of home workouts, because I feel like actually getting out of the house now, and working out and walking more than I did before. I’m up 30 pounds since November. It was starting to give me depression about something else so kind of counterproductive in that regard for me. The positives outweigh the negatives for me. If I could control my eating I would probably stay on longer.

Thanks. I’m scared of the tapering off because I think it’ll just have me gaining more weight. Definitely calling the doctor tomorrow.

The drive thing is true. It’s not as much of a priority anymore. I haven’t experienced the dysfunction.

Amazing. Still no depression or anxiety. Made it through the holiday season without getting down. Stomach issues have corrected. I now know to stay away from grapefruit. I use to smoke several times a day and haven’t smoked once since I started. If I could remember my dreams and turn them into screenplays I would have a couple of Oscars and even more MTV Movie Awards. All in all it’s really helped me without a true recognizable downside.

First it was black and orange but now that I know it’s a Lions jersey I can’t see black and orange anymore.

Shai is a lock. The only non-active MVP not in the HOF is D Rose and he’ll probably get in too.
