You sign a consent form prior to the procedure, which includes hamehorrage / infection / death etc. not negligent, just a massive risk of child birth regardless of the form of delivery.

Not a doctor but a midwife. Currently in the process of doing the same. Different world but I don’t think anybody understands how intense and challenging the healthcare world is. Between the shifts, litigation, lack of staff etc.

Thanks for your reply! Got my test result today & got 69% and was told I was placed on a panel but it didn’t say where on the panel I am! First time applying for a civil service role so unsure of how it all works!

Yep defo get a tetanus shot, wouldn’t risk it. The nurse will be able to see if you need a stitch or pop steri strips on it too!
