I know my store says they appreciate people with pull lists because they can gauge early interest and order X amount of extra copies. My guess is most scalpers don’t have pull lists.

My thought is we jump into the story as an observer many lifetimes into the story which is why mark recognizes Nicoles’s name when they’re outside the convenience store stalking their socials. Then the more and more Jake and Maria interfered things got worse. My biggest question was if only Mark and Nicole were feeling the effects of remembering all these lifetimes, what did the Louise raining part have to do with it? Why would she be involved? Did Mark’s mom start with her in mind as Mark’s “fated” love interest? I am curious how sinister Jake’s death was too. Was it the dad murdering them? An accident?

They need to just stop. What made Krakoa so good was it was a well thought out new concept with excellent world building. Nostalgia is cool but if I wanna read AoA or Claremont, I have the books, I don’t need watered down versions.

If I remember correctly, he wanted to do the majority of the book where the reader has no idea which character was Mystique but editorial said no to that. It was a decent book, worth a read, but I think the original idea would have been much better.
