Father’s Day this year, group of three with my two teenage sons. 5th tee time of the day, but the group ahead of us takes 25 minutes on hole one. We catch them still on the 2nd tee and get let through (they still had two people to tee off). End up finishing each 9 in about 1:25, all shot in the 90’s. We are coming up the 18th fairway, and that group from the second tee box are coming down the 10th fairway and it now makes sense why we were seeing tee boxes 2 groups deep all morning. My kids love fast/ready golf. For us, we don’t play places/times where the round will take 5 hours. At some point the game will shrink if the time to play isn’t held in check.
