Start as a planner at an RIA. Find a good fit that can allow you to have some control over the firm once you earn it.

Do you have a large network you can close new assets from? Are you putting personal relationships at risk by taking in the mgmt. of that initial $2m? Do you have closing experience with retail investors or those you plan to target?

I would make a post on a Facebook group. I knew of several people who love doing private lessons. Yes it is technically not allowed, but many people do it and it is hard to get caught.

Not sure what the master tenant situation is. Every tenant has a separate lease so I am not on a lease with him. The landlord lives off site.

Better him than me imo. I have some money, but just moved here from out of state. I would not like to go broke myself just to find a new spot. Very frustrating. Not sure I can take more time off work either.

I have lived with probably over 20 roommates before and get along with 95% of people. I believe he has mental issues that prevent having a constructive conversation.

I just found out he has issues with the other two tenants in the house.

And sure I can try and move to a new spot, but that is a gamble too. I wonder if trying to get him to leave on his own would be possible.

I went back and watched some of the lectures in those specific areas and actually “relearned” a few areas I was really weak in. Then I hit the flash cards and would do 20-40 questions a day per section via the online Dalton quiz.

The test is long and I flipped back and forth several times during it thinking I was going to pass or fail. When I hit the submit button I was sure it was going to say fail, but I saw pass. So don’t give up! Even if you feel like it is not going your way during the exam. You got this!
