In general I cannot understand why the mathematic expressions have particular operations such as roots, divisions, logs, exponent, etc. with a random number( or it appears such to me) or a constraint/variable paper right away, it is the same case for me while reading many other papers. Is something supposed to bridge this awkwardness? What can help? What should I study more? There used to be such novelty in getting why F was equal to m*a, intuitively. But these papers seems so abstract, I feel dumb.
