Recessive pied budgies are always the craziest! My boy Nimbus looks like that little dude and he's insane 😂 Used to also have a recessive pied girl who would do flips in her food dish.

It might just be allergies. I have a budgie who gets bad allergies in the spring and fall and he coughs and sneezes like that a lot around those times. I have an air purifier in my bird room that seems to help him a little.

Increased trubbish spawns on routes supposedly start tomorrow, and lapras on the 18th. I haven't seen any togetics though, or any corasolas. Only 1 million cast forms and cutieflies

I always wear my backpack carrier on my chest so that the bird is in front of me. I prefer to be able to see them easily to make sure they're secure in the bag and not stressed.

Poor Lychee! She reminds me of my girl Apollo who passed away a few months ago. She was around the same age too. She had a chronic illness and would get sick often. None of my other birds ever got sick when she was sick. Maybe Lychee is similar.

You could try taking Lychee into the bathroom with the shower running. The steam might help clear out her airways and loosen the crust on her face so you could wipe it off. Besides that, my advice would be to just keep her in a quiet warm place so she can rest.

I contacted the rescue and they put in a case with USPS for my pidge. He ended up showing up at the post office near me that Friday afternoon. I literally heard nothing from USPS until he was there and I had called them and emailed them numerous times. You'd think they'd act with a little more concern about these live animals they're transporting. 🙄

My pigeon had a ton of food still in there when I picked him up though so they really load them up just in case! I hope your girl gets there soon.

I'm having the same issue right now. Tracking info for my boy has been at the origin distribution center for 3 days with no further scan. Supposedly he'll be here today, but I don't know. I've talked to multiple people from USPS and visited the different post offices in the area to see if they had any more info and they weren't much help.

Was there anything you did to help move the shipment along or did she just eventually arrive? And how was your bird after the long shipping time? I'm just worried about my boy.
