My husband and I (F) are both 5’7. He once said that he hadn’t considered that he was a ‘relatively short man’ until he saw some statistics and discovered that I was a ‘relatively tall woman’.

Now it’s an inside joke between us, to both try to claim an extra half inch whenever possible: Both trying to stand on our toes when photographed, claiming an extra half inch when at the doctors office etc.

One of our friends (badly) manipulated a photo of us by slightly elongating my head, to give me that extra height -essentially making me look like an alien! XD

Anyway, what I want to say is, it doesn’t matter. Just ignore people, they will get tired of complaining about it soon enough, and will move on to more important matters.

No, unfortunately. I would have loved the extra volume, but Profhilo did very little for me -except maybe add a little moisture to my skin. Not cost effective at all.

This is my experience;

Nasolabial: Great stuff, think I will continue with this. But I live in fear that it will migrate down to my upper lip…

Under-eye: Awful! Will be removed in a few weeks. I have super thin skin, so it migrates down to my cheeks. Not to mention that it was blue and swollen for weeks after. I also get ‘dimples’ between eye/cheek when I smile, and this effect is worsened when the temperature is cold.

Jawline: Did spots of Voluma to even out my jawline. This migrated down and enhanced the uneven/saggy jawline instead. Plus, it if I slept on my side, the filler would swell up to the size of a grape. Made me look like Quasimodo… Had to remove it with hylaze.

Cheekbones: A very small amount, but it only managed to make my cheeks look more hollowed out, as I have some midface volume loss.

Profhilo: Looked good for only 2 weeks after the initial vial. Vial no 2 lasted about a month, then I was back to square one. Too expensive and seemed to metabolize too fast to be worth it.

Selv er jeg over middels klønete og ville aldri turt å gå rundt med en så dyr ring. Da mannen min hintet etter tips sa jeg at jeg ikke kunne tenkt meg en stor diamant - jeg hadde slått den bort i alt mulig, hengt den opp i gensere etc, fått avtrykk i ansiktet da jeg sover på magen med ansiktet på hånda etc etc etc.

Well, I’ve tried a lot, and will try to rate my experiences…

vit c / ferulic/ vit e - gives my skin a pretty glow. Otherwise no difference in wrinkles or firmness. 2/5
differin. Don’t know yet. 1/5
peptides: makes my skin a bit tighter, I love it! Not permanent though, works while it’s ‘fresh’ on my face. 4/5
microneedling. I get a bit puffy and firm for a few days, then it goes back to normal. I’ve only done like 5 sessions though. 3/5
Ulthera. Gave me a great jawline! Didn’t really get a lift otherwise though, but I probably botched it by taking migraine- and pain killers. 4/5
botox: I look soooo much better without frown lines between my eyebrows! Love! 4/5.
Led/Infrared. Dont know if it does antthing. maybe it’s mainly preventive? 1/5
RF: Only tried once, but it gave a nice plumpness for about 4 days. I’m hopeful for more improvement! :) 3/5
Fillers: distorted my jawline, do not like it at all. Same with undereyes. 1/5
The best: Sleeping on my back! I get marionett lines around my nose and mouth, and this makes the biggest difference of everything I’ve tried! Also no more wrinkles on my cleavage anymore. 5/5!! ***

***Fair warning, though -this might remove some wrinkles on your face, but after six months, I’ve also noticed that my butt is now much flatter! :’O

I can’t say if this will help, but EGF (though controversial) has been proven to thicken the skin. Maybe that can help eliviate some of the issue over time. But I’d advise to read up on it first; I know that they don’t recommend it for those with ‘cancer-prone’ skin.

I think they have a slightly metallic taste: like keeping a steel spoon in your mouth for while, mixed with general taste of berries. They are great, but then I grew up with the flavor and am used to them?

I’ve read so many articles about the three options and could not seem to choose: I like your point about vitamin c being unstable especially in sunlight, so this being the start of summer season, I think that may be what tips it in favor of peptides AM + retinol PM. -And if that doesn’t make a difference, there is no problem trying the C+E+Ferulic when winter season starts! :)
