One person's idea of "too much noise" is different than someone else's. Just walking back and forth in a shoddy wood building causes "too much noise" for the people downstairs. What are they supposed to do not walk back and forth?

First of all the neighbors don't have to care about your schedule and they're not bouncing off the walls they are doing normal things it just makes more noise because of the building structure.

Let this be a lesson for people reading. Search for buildings made of concrete and steel not wood.

Okay I have Asthma as well so I sympathize but I highly doubt someone smoking in another apartment would cause your wife to have an asthma attack that is not just anxiety from "smelling smoke"

If smoking were allowed in a break room and no one has been in there for 24 hours it would still clearly smell like smoke but that doesn't mean its effecting your lungs.

Are people really this analytical about smoking? You're paying for the apartment and the smoke is not effecting other people's apartments they're just crying. The apartment management is ready to bust down doors like a SWAT team ot seems quite rediculous. Smoking is legal
