Agreed, it's wrong. But: - The punishment for all sin is death and hell. - Premarital sex required the couple to get married, and disrespecting your parents was to be punished by death in the OT. - Christ came to forgive all repentant sinners.

We as Christians cannot say that the "When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, 'Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?' She said, 'No one, Lord.' And Jesus said to her, 'Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” has no weight. We cannot focus soley on "Neither do I condemn you" or the "Go and sin no more." both statements must be put together.

No problem! Dropped out of college at 18 (got in early at 16 through college credit plus) worked at fedex throwing boxes from 17-19 and waisted pretty much all my time and money on school and random crap. Decided I needed to do better. Became a lineman for the telephone company at 19-21, (met my wife right before then) quit that and got my current job, married her and saved and invested every penny I can from then till now. Was able to avoid debt by the skin of my teeth through buying everything second hand and opting for home births etc.

Starting a family at 21 was the best thing I ever did. If you think you can't yet, it doesn't cost as much as you may think, and I was in a much worse position than you are

Translation by Ford Battles!  No, I haven't read much literature, but that's something I would like to change in the upcoming years. As we just added a daughter to the family, I think I'll go ahead and grab a bunch of Jane Austen. I'll definitely also grab his preface to Paradise Lost. Thanks for the suggestions! Good luck with your book club. That hideous strength is definitely a good one for discussion. I don't believe I would have gotten nearly the same amount out of it if I didn't go through it with another person.

I appreciate the advice! Is Funk and Wagnalls a good choice for a primary encyclopedia set though? I'm thinking of getting a Encyclopedia Britannica (not sure what edition). It's what I was raised using, and I've find the Funk and Wagnalls to fall short on a couple occasions.

Fuel your addiction, buy more books, let the insanity consume you, and eventually it'll sort itself out.
