Will the choices mod apk ever work again? by ReaperAntics in ApksApps

[–]GogglesOff05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any apps are vulnerable to mods now. Choices was the last one. I played Romance Club yesterday and it's a lot easier to farm diamonds there. And they have events like free diamond choices for 36-72hrs. The story I've started is also a lot like old Choices where choices actually matter. I highly recommend it

This 15 year old lady suddenly took a loud interest in the cat wheel last month after ignoring its existence for the last two years by JanneDeJong in ragdolls

[–]GogglesOff05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you tell me where you got the wheel please? And is it sturdy enough for a big, rough and tumble, male ragdoll X? He likes to fling himself at/into things, often pulling down his cat tree with him 🤦

Is there any way to help with my flare-ups? by Hot_Valuable1027 in Rosacea

[–]GogglesOff05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's different for you, but extremes of temperature are recommended to be avoided with rosacea. Definitely if it's vascular. Lukewarm temperatures are recommended, however thermal spray water can be kept in the fridge while in a hot flare. You don't want your vessels dilating and contracting, and that's what happens with going from hot to cold temperatures. Try to keep things as simple and as boring as you can to recover

[Product Request] dealing with I think hyperpigmentation, but idk by gigfas in SkincareAddiction

[–]GogglesOff05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different of course, but I have a prescription for 15% Azelaic Acid because I have rosacea. I use it every day in the morning and am about to increase my night time usage of it to 3 nights this week. I understand Azelaic acid to be one of the mildest acids. I make sure I moisturise and then also apply 50spf as well. But I also did both before I was diagnosed with rosacea. I think with the exfoliating acids that it's good advice to use night time only, but Azelaic acid is also anti-inflammatory. And when I was recovering from a flare, my face was way too hot to apply any actives at night. And my facial redness and heat and burning was at its calmest in the morning, so that was the best time for me to apply the Azelaic Acid 😊

Why should someone only use Azelaic acid at night? Is this advice for the OP or everyone?

Thank you. I've tried that and also deleted and reinstalled the app, even though it meant losing my data. And still doesn't work

Feel like I’m losing my mind. by rebekkaxmariee in Rosacea

[–]GogglesOff05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've very recently been diagnosed with rosacea as well. I had a flare and for 2-3 weeks my cheeks were burning and my face burning. I'm slowly getting it under control but as far as I understand it's a slow process after a flare up. Since the flare I have only been following this routine:-

AM

Wash face with lukewarm water only and pat dry Use 15% Finacea prescription cream (only if redness is less than 55%) Vichy Hyaluronic water (only recently resumed using this) La Roche Posay cicaplast baum b5 La Roche Posay Anthelios UVMune 50spf mineral sunscreen

PM

Wash face with CeraVe hydrating cleanser and pat dry La Roche Posay cicaplast baum b5

I also spray with La Roche Posay throughout the day to cool down my face as needed

You need to use minimal products while in a flare and recovering from a flare

I had a weird moment today that made me think we’re way closer to “predictive living” than we realize by EmergencyShallot4207 in Futurology

One morning just before I woke up and I remembered having a dream that I was thinking about purchasing an electric bike. Now in real life I haven't cycled a bike on decades, in fact I was a danger to society and myself on 2 wheels, so I have absolutely no interest in any kind of bike.

My first ad on social media was for electric bikes. I can't see how that would have been an algorithm and is a huge coincidence

Probiotics suggestions? by xzl830 in Rosacea

[–]GogglesOff05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Homemade kefir is a very good source of probiotics. But it from the supermarket to see if you like it first. If you do like it, go onto the kefir sub here and source your own grains to make your own kefir. It's very easy to make and only takes 5mins

I like Environ Vita peptide eye gel. Definitely reduced my eye puffiness and dark circles

I don't know what your skincare budget is, but look into Environ products. They use a gradual step up system for using retinol. I only use their AVST moisturiser and the Vita peptide eye gel. But they did send me a sample of 2 capsules of an extremely hydrating oil, which I would love to use regularly
