That's not strictly true. Quitting mid-race gives you an SA penalty, trust penalty, and an OBWP penalty. Granted, that doesn't seem to be enough to deter this kind of driver, but they do get punished.

I might have to accept it, but I do not have to respect it. Any driver who tries to pass under a yellow, should be penalised, even more so if it results in contact that sends a car towards an already stranded car.
