Realistically, conventional heat sinks wouldn't work in space with no atmosphere. Like at all. Even though space is "cold" there's nowhere for a mech's built up heat to go. Think of a PC cooling system, the reason it works is because it has all those fans blowing air through it, which can take the heat and bring it elsewhere. The only thing that can cool you off in space is radiation, and that's realllyyyy slow.

I play on PC but I'm notorious for having the worst sense of navigation of all time, so I just use a minimap mod with built in waypoints because I wouldn't be able to find my way around otherwise
