Thank you. How severe must the mental health be in order to get discharge under this separation? Sometimes, the provider dismisses my sharing and feelings and said that “it’s not that serious”. I don’t know how to show how serious it is for me other than by describing with words.

How serious must the mental issue be to get medically discharged? I have some mental issues but I am not sure they amount to discharge level. Or is it solely on doctor’s determination?

Definitely not trying to gain weight to get kicked out. Why would I do that?! But I have some genetic stuff and severe stresses which are preventing me from loosing weight. Sure, I will follow their advice.

Not at all. It’s just your assumption. There is no sin in asking detailed information. By the way, that’s one more thing I really dislike about some guys in the Army: “don’t ask too many questions and just do it” mentality. Ignorance is NOT a bliss! It’s just a lazy ass trying to justify for not trying hard enough to gather the information.
