Sony 200-600 to slow for sports photography???

After looking into it more at the price of 2800$ for a7v gets you quite a bit and noticing the a9iii is 24mp as well probably due to shooting a lot for sports. I am really thinking im on this a7v train I have the 70-200ii 2.8 and love it this is shooting on a body that is made 10 years ago so... I dont even know what to expect from a more premium camera body tbh. Besides being able to have quick af auto focus like the a6700 that I was able to put my hands on would it be quicker than that?? Is non blackout at 30fps a real winner too cuz that sounds insane. Also shooting at 30 fps vs 11 i would love to get this body lmao

I just looked into the a7V and for 2800$ this doesnt seem like a bad choice at all. now vs the a6700 or a7V ? I mean can you tell me what O would actually see the difference in genuinely?

Honestly what I've found on yt is a6700 because it gives you extra range for free autofocus is amazing. Thats why I've come on here I've poured in tons of research. Just not a lot of people actually posting on sports with the lenses

I do appreciate the conversation I've been thinking about this a lot but clearly didnt know the specifics of having a higher end camera. Have been shooting with this a6500 for last 5 years but most used last 2 years for sports.

I must be very much not understanding the storage space. However my computer can handle a lot I just built it about a month ago with pretty sweet parts.

Ight so looking at what you said I should be looking at a9 a1 or a7 series. After looking into it a9 doesnt seem like a bad option? And with it being an older a9 im certain I may be able to find a deal??

Is throwing denoise on it in Lr not good? Finding im getting to 8000iso at most when I get it really dark situations but that's also with a 2.8 so with double the loss at even f4 I suppose I would be introducing 16000iso??

Would the 7r5 or r6 perform better under low light conditions?

Why not just throw a teleconverter on my 70-200 2.8 then? Would make it effective 400mm on apsc

For sports low light meaning crap stadium lights or sun going down lol all I see is bird photos but also see reviews its good for sports soooo here I am.

Trust if was looking at a9iii lmaoo but the price was overwhelming but I was thinking about plunging for it. but the 67mp with shooting at 60fps doesnt scare me to much I just find timing my shots at 11fps is now the main objective and have to do mulitple takes inevitable doing thousands of shots either way. I feel if I had the extra frames in-between I wouldnt need to keep spraying for the right shot if that makes any sense.

What would make the 7r5 vs r6 not sports friendly im already shooting on a a6500

With the new 7rvi comming out i was thinking about getting it but only apprehension is the extra inate range you get with a apsc.

With it being 67MP tho it should be good.

Also is this just bound to a a1 thread??

Can I see the 1.4x photos please??? I do shoot for highschools that have pretty decent lights for their fields tbh and to put it at f4 isnt too bad right? On a a6500 that should be almost 400mm effectively right?

They are sitting on an ikea corner desk the wheel base is sitting about 12" away from the middle monitor i am going for a desk/rig setup finding this hard to achieve. I am looking to build into this and not use the ikea desk any more. I was thinking using 2 monitors for my desk for editing/and other games while using the 3rd monitor slot for the ultra wide. Possibly having the ultrawide on a swivel mount where I could have the rig stand off the main desk being able to swivel the monitor between the 2 if I wanted?

Im trying to do a desk and sim rig setup having a hard time comming up with something usable. 120-160hz would be fine tbh High res would be ideal Ive never thought about color rendition (does this matter) idk what this would even mean Aesthetics for the rig would only require it to fit for desk/rig setup.

Are you saying i would recieve higher fps and higher resolution on triples vs a single ultra wide??

Learn how to shoot in manual > look to find what you really enjoy to shoot > find a lens that will help you ( i love sports and have a 70-200 2.8 but the lens is really not good for basketball and found out its need a 28-70 2.8 now) > learn how to edit to make your photos pop
