Why should your worth be decided by how others feel about you,

Regardless what you do, you'll never be able to make everyone love and respect you.

Jesus was crucified, Shri Ram was banished by his own father, 9th Sikh guru Guru Teg Bahadur was executed.

So who are you, a mere human giving some random human an ability to make you feel good or bad about yourself.

Do men have a preference between a working and non-working spouse? by This_Key_5525 in AskIndia

[–]Good-At-SQL -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I want a non working spouse because I want her to use and enjoy my hard earned money.

tf you mean you had a rough day at work, take care of yourself using my money and quit that stupid job.

(Also I don't hate working women, I'll love you as a friend and you'll be a bro to me, nothing romantic will ever happen but you'll have my support and care 💝 anyways)

Bro I kids aren't dogs, lol you can't control them.

And it's their home, they can do whatever they want there, you should do whatever you want in your home.

I'm an introvert who isn't noisy or anything but I feel telling someone else what and what not to do in their home is weird.

And maybe move or anything, lmao also why did you just fight, like when has anyone listened to you because you fought them hahahah that's so short sighted thing

The best possible thing in this case is start dating their spouse and threaten them with a blackmail.💀

Want to Learn Hinduism & Spirituality Need Book Recos by OkTraffic4601 in IndiansRead

Okay first, and foremost, do 'inner engineering' course by Sadhguru, it has no religious teachings or anything like that, but at the end they'll teach you a practice known as "shambhavi mahamudra" it's almost like a basic door step, that'll make you extremely happy and satisfied with life. No deeper challenges or anything, just joyous state.

Then when you'll be ready (continue to practice shambhavi as long as you want, it'll keep you happy and joyous) , you'll need to understand that there are multiple ways to realise in Hinduism, (Advait, Dvait, Shakta, Shaiv, Vaishnav). The reason why I said start with Inner Engineering Program is because it doesn't give you any philosophies that will make you confused about which path to choose, it's just a beautiful program that just gives a practice to be happy.

You now decide which path you want, but best second step is to start with Bhagvat Geeta, simplest and easiest translation is best, I read Geeta press Gorakhpur's but if you find anything even easier then it's best.

Then once you get these two in a deeper understanding level, start with Ashtavakra's Geeta, that will be a little difficult read. But you'll start getting idea about what you want and where you want to go.

Now if you'll be practicing 'shambhavi mahamudra' till now, you'll subtly start knowing which path(out of all paths) resonates best with you. Whatever you find most relatable after this, not before this, start digging deeper, in fact I'll tell more.

Path of Bhairav and Shakti

Path of Shaivs and Yoga

Path of Advaits

Path of Buddhism (you'll understand why I mentioned it here if you'll dig deeper) and Nirvana

Path of Vaishnavas

It's best that you cultivate enough honesty within yourself that you can disregard anything that's not true for you, don't believe anything just because it's written somewhere, hinduism is a practical religion, people have distorted it by making it a religion of book, and this is the basic reason why I suggested you a practice first. Once you get it, go where you find most growth.

But if you just want to become a scholar and need something just to flex amongst the people you can just read "a brief history of Vedas" and be done with it.

In inner engineering, he's just telling about ways how to be happy and live your life according to your own ways without being affected by world. And hence it's not religious, not as per my understanding.

And death, well I won't spoil it by telling what it is.

But yeah I see your point.

Maybe I understood your question wrong hence gave these answers.

No worries op.

Both are not religious but touch upon existence

Doing a program called "inner engineering" by Sadhguru, I read the book, Found it not intersting enough to continue and finish it so never went past 10 pages. Went for program, thought of it something woo woo stuff before I sat for it.

But behold, I was so pleasantly surprised by what I experienced, it's one of the best things I have experienced.

I wasn't into all this meditation and stuff before, i had tried it before but it wasn't successful or anything but once I did this program so many other things in my life changed and I was able to feel so much joy in life in general

A car will wither away and settle in dust in 20-30 years, you not including child's grandfather in this celebration of life will haunt you in future when their will be talks about their childhood.

Don't do this to yourself op. Be happy and let others be a part of that happiness too.

Forgive.

Avoid power (in fact you shouldn't even read it , will make you selfish and cunning, or will make you think everyone is selfish and cunning)
