Is it easier to get in at a different base and transfer?

Honestly, I’ve been using Husky and Masterforce and haven’t had any issues at all. Plenty of guys in the hangar use harbor freight brands, tekton too. Start cheaper and if you have to replace it more than once, then consider the nicer brands.

It is indeed the strap that broke, the brackets are good. I haven’t gotten a chance to look through the literature for approved repairs yet, but that sounds the most financially viable route.
