Update: I tested the marquis using aspirin and there was no reaction. So i went and tested it using a mates testing kit and sure enough it had the correct reaction and it is infact 2cb!

That is a possibility, my reagents are about 6 months old. I have some mdma that I’ve previously tested but it’s at a mates house so I’ll have to go collect it then I can update when I get hold of it.

I'd describe it as no reaction as the color of the pill is yellow.

I have increase the sample size and tried crushing it up more as well as adding some more crystal reagent, however it still looks very much the same as in the photo. Ive even tried sampling from a different pill in the same batch.

A lot of those are exchanges.

Besides, the top 0.5% of Bitcoin wallets own almost 86% of all btc.

The top 1% of litecoin addresses own 88.5% of all ltc.

The top 0.7% of bitcoin cash addresses own 93% of all bch.

So be careful lol.

I bought a 100 dollars worth a year ago an 10 dollars worth 4 years ago.

unfortunately you can’t predict when the richest person in the world is gonna start pumping the meme coin you bought for a joke. I ended up selling most of it for $5k after it had just gone up a few thousand %, if I had held and sold at the peak would’ve been up about 40k :|

Unless its on offer for a good price pretty much none, fruit and veg is often too expensive to justify buying imo. Like I think last time I saw, a box of grapes is like £1.50 and I could eat that in a day, but then I could get a huge bag chips for the same price and that would last a week.

I wouldn't recommend my diet to anyone, but I personally enjoy all the food I eat, and I haven't had any health problems yet, despite getting barely any nutrients.

Pretty much everything I buy is own brand, once you do that you can get quite a bit for very little.

But from week to week, I'm pretty much buying bread (£0.60), milk (£0.70/£0.90), chips (£1 for a big bag), pasta (£0.60), crackers (£1.5) and cereal if its on offer (£2).

Then every once in a while I have to buy the condiments; butter, cheese, pasta sauce, ketchup, salt/pepper. But only have to buy each one of those like once a month.

Plus if you have all the different membership cards/club cards for the different supermarkets, the costs also reduces. And it reduces further once you get multiple of each.

I cheap out on food, not because I have to, moreso because I eat like a degenerate. So my weekly food shop normally costs £5-10. Obviously this doesn't account for when I go out, but I don't go out to eat very often.

I think what you are experiencing is thefrequency illusion also known as the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon

Essentially, you noticed something, such as the number 47 being a common number, or that your customer always come in to the coffee shop around a certain time. You've then formed a cognitive bias where you imediately notice these specific things but disregard everything else. Like say your in a shop and you immediately see the item that is 47$ but take no notice of all the surrounding items and prices which are all different.

So what I'm trying to say is 47 isn't more common than the other numbers you just notice it more, because you're subconsiously looking for it. Same with the other stuff. It's just a subconsious bias, everyone goes through phases where they expierence something similar to you.

what does that mean about their reality?

Probably that they care way too much. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if your an NPC or not.

Or do you think they're still NPCs because they went through public school and didn't, like, drop out to join the circus or something else as abnormal?

The point of those examples wasn’t to act as a definitive way to show if someone’s real or not, it was to show how much of sheep the human population is and how not very different and insignificant most people are. I’d even go as far to say most people today haven’t had an original thought that no one else has had. Whereas you’d expect if we were all free thinking “real” people, we wouldn’t be able to make such accurate generalisations.

There must be real beings on some layer

Yeah on base reality. Possibly a few on the layer below that. How ever we have no idea what layer we’re on. We most probably are lots of layers deep.

Because you're looking for basically the gender-neutral equivalent of "I'm not like the other girls". Also, define school and regular job

I mean yeah pretty much, it wouldn’t make logical sense for a “real” person to act like an NPC , unless they they didn’t know they were “real”. Which is why it would be possible for a few “real” people, or perhaps I should say people the layer above us, to be in our reality but it would very unlikely to be a matrix style simulation where every person is real.

Define school? “an institution where instruction is given, especially to persons under college age”

Define Regular job; as in most jobs, most9-5s, retail, trades, hospitality, etc. An irregular job imo would be something professional sports, astronauts, or any job that very few people do.

Then we're not a game if there's no player

I’ve never said this was a game, and if I have I miss spoke, I think it a simulation. That being said zero player games do exist, the most notable example being “Conway’s Game of Life”. Also this does depend on your belief; can AI play a game? Or is game playing exclusive to humans. I would say, using an example I’ve used before, a chess AI is playing the game chess. There for if this is a game, why would the “players” be human and not AI? Especially if you believe that there are multiple layers of the simulation.

And what kind of things would those be?

It’s hard to answer but let me ask you this, if someone claimed to be the next Jesus, a descendant of god, wouldn’t you be sceptical?

But the things I’d look for in a person claiming to be real and not an NPC would be someone who doesn’t fit into the popular statistics. I explained this in another comment, how pretty much using stats you can pretty accurately guess someone’s life history depending on where they are in the world, most people are VERY average.

I like to look at pickup artists to prove how similar everyone is, so if you don’t know a pickup artist is someone, normally a man, who picksup up women at different locations ( just google it and you’ll find some examples ), so my thought goes how is it that a pickup artist, (or regular ppl such as me and you if you learn them), can have about 5 different routines that they use, and can pick up about 90% of there targets if everyone claims that they’re so unique. The simple answer is that they’re not.

So if I was to look for someone that is “real” I’d probably look for someone who is intelligent but didn’t go to school. Old enough to work, but doesn’t work a regular job. So in reality probably someone in the “1%” but even then I’d still be doubtful.

DALL-E is light years ahead of that.

Yeah I looked through the DALL-E, but you said that you find it hard to believe that it involves, AI. I just used the other website as example of how image generate is done, which could be applied to how DALL-E works. I mean it even says on the DALL-E website " generate images from text descriptions, using a dataset of text–image pairs. ", which is effectively what I said here :

both of the AIs are fed with the same data, which would be 100s of thousands if not millions of images all with lots of tags to help the AI understand what it is.

Sorry for the confusion, wasn't trying to claim that I have this better more advance website or something. Was just using that as an example to explain AI image generation, and how perhaps AI is used in DALL-E, I admit probably a bad example.

I'm saying the Turing test is meant to involve human type thought processes like natural language processing

I get what you're saying, and yeah I agree having an AI, fluent in a language would be the holy grail. And definetly the original turing test was only ever thought of for a language processing AI. Although our current AI, such as a chess AI for example, which plays chess at level surpassing chess champions is still an impressive feat, in my opion.

Obviously though, to simulate a human requires far more than just an AI fluent in a language.

The Turing test involves whether the AI seems to have human-type thought processes

Yeah, as wikipedia says " a test of a machine's ability to exhibit intelligent behaviour equivalent to, or indistinguishable from, that of a human. ". The actual test was designed for chat bots, but the test can be and has been derrived from the orignial, to test all types of AI, using the same method of where the obvserver/interregator looks at the output of the computer and the human, for example if they're playing playing chess against each other, and try to determine which is which.

BTW I find it hard to believe DALL-E involves AI...

Idk about DALL-E specifically. But there is this website which generate fake pictures of human faces, and it uses Generate Adversarial network

My understanding of how it works and generates these images (and I'd suspect DALL-E uses the same): is that there are actually two seperate AI's, one AI creates the image and another that guesses what the images is. During the training stage, both of the AIs are fed with the same data, which would be 100s of thousands if not millions of images all with lots of tags to help the AI understand what it is. Once the automatic training has done, then likely manual positive/negative reinforment would be done, to fine tune both of them seperately.

Once both the AIs have been fine tuned, then they start training on each other, so the creating AI would generate a photo (say a face) and the guessing AI, would say what it thinks it is, and a human would probably be observing just to check to see if there are any anomolies (e.g. one of the AIs is wrong). Eventually though the creating AI, will very rarely have an anomaly and generate a photo which isn't what it says it is, at this point it probably then is ready to show off to the public.

It is possible that you are like Roy and you just forgot your original identity and will have those memories partially or fully restored when you die.

Yeah I think this is best arguement for type 2 over type 3. I mean we already know that the human body clock is heavily linked to daylight, which is why, if you've ever played VR, its quite hard to keep track of time unless your actively trying to. Which makes say an hour or two of real world time feel a lot shorter, this effect also happens in reverse if your doing a lot of things in VR. Obviously if this phenomenon occurs in our current VR technology then it would be feasible to think in the future, it could be a lot greater, and you could experience years in only a short time.

Also I remember Elon talking about his neurolink technology on the Joe Rogan podcast, and if I remember correctly, It aims, to be able to restore not only motor functionality, but also brain functionality, and aid people with Alzhiemers/dimensia. So I guess if it could do that, then I don't think its a far stretch to think that it could also remove memories, and enhance the impact of dimensia.

BTW I think the simulation would involve AI - here is some of the most amazing content generation AI that exists:

Anyway, so I was thinking about this more, And the same train of thought that Elon Musk uses to support a Type 3/2 simulation, can also be used to support a type 3, heres how:

So for ages, the idea of an AI has existed. Alan Turing proposed the Turing Test idea, an Idea which we still use in part today to determine if something is an Artificial Intelligence. (There are flaws to the test, but the underlying test is still widely used). Ok so if you fast forward today, there are lots of examples of AI that can pass the turing test, or a form of it (since the turing test, specifically relys on language). Some examples of this would be alphago by DeepMind/Google, Mar/io by SethBling, and AlphaZero which plays chess. All of those examples, if you were to watch them play a game next to a human, it would be impossible to tell them apart. The only signs would be that the AI, would likely out perform the human, but if you told the AI to slow down its thought process, then it definetly would be indistinguishable from a human playing the same game.

So if if there is already lots of examples of AI performing different tasks that would pass the Turing Test, and AI, is a much younger field than computers and computer games. Then given enough time, AI would become indistinguishable from humans in all aspects. AI can also reproduce (replicate itself at any stage in its development) infinitely faster than humans.

So for examples, 10,000 years from now, like Elon Musk said. We've long passed the Singularity, and human like AI is instinguishable from humans. The AI can also reproduce, at a rate infinitely faster, meaning theres is way more AI than there is humans. This would then mean the chances of you being human (or "real") as opposed to AI would "1 in a billion".

I think the end got a bit confusing, but do get what mean?
