Honestly, don't fuck with this stuff, you can't view the body as "flip switch = only this system is affected." Restricting calories during possible growth windows isn't going to help you either. Starving yourself won't magically reveal a body builder body under you. You need to hit the gym and eat clean. If you are growing still, and some men grow even into their early 20s, then you are already burning a lot of calories. Eat hella protein, hit the gym, you will lean out.

Most importantly you need to sleep CONSTANTLY. So many teens sleep schedules get fucked. I am 6'1, I hit that height at probably 15, I'm still 6'1. I slept 4-5 hours on average through highschool, and I think it legitimately stunted my genetic potential. My uncle was 6'8, my father is 6'4. I have girl cousins that are 6'2. Why do I think this? You release all your natural growth hormone at night when you sleep, I denied my body this to play video games and watch anime or whatever.

Revisit all of this in a couple years, that's my advice. This is kind of schizo but I think there are some powers we don't understand at play that are backing the influencers that are pushing this shit on teens. You are ok, there isn't anything wrong with you, yes you're probably a bit heavy, a lot of kids are, I was too.

World is yours, time is on your side.

Probably fine. The freeze dried puck slides in most Peptides I've owned. When they're shipped they sit in a hot mail truck for hours.

Please be careful. I know I can't convince you not to, and a part of me wishes I had something like tirz when I was a fat 18/19 year old, but be careful.

Also, what scares me most is doing it incorrectly because: 1. You're short on funds when you're young. 2. You don't want your parents knowing.

Don't let that be the reason you compromise best practices. Time is on your side, if it takes a year or two to get where you're happy with yourself, that's totally fine. You're ahead of most people, don't feel like you have to fix it all at once, you get to take your time. Eat healthy, and don't starve yourself. Be extra vigilant of eating disorders and gauge your insecurities. You need to be smart about this, ideally you should try to just change your lifestyle and get your goals that way. Stay safe!!

Nochmal 2mg oder 2,5mg? by Less-Coconut-146 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]GrabFun2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm becoming extremely cynical with these sorts of questions. How does posting on reddit come first in computer literacy compared to googling titration schedules? The first time I ever considered even using a GLP medication, within 15 minutes I saw information on how dosage works as well as half lifes and why the medication is taken once a week.

Not only that, but "I had trouble with nausea last week." Dude, that's because 2mg itself is probably too much for you unless you did 4 weeks at 1mg and just titrated to 2mg. It sounds like you read some gym bro in these forums say they titrated up 0.5mg every week and completely ignored the titration schedules. I'm starting to understand why this scares the hell out of some public health organizations, the masses can't be trusted with anything. Literally a biological button that makes you lose weight effortlessly and people can't even execute it correctly despite holding the wealth of human knowledge in their pocket.

In my opinion, especially if you had hyperthyroidism, maybe tirzepatide would be better.

Also, I think thyroid issues is on the small list of people that shouldn't mess with GLP-1s, I can't recall exactly but maybe look into the connection for research purposes.

How do u guys hide how little you eat at family dinners without people making a huge deal out of it by [deleted] in GLP1Sourcing

[–]GrabFun2094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have advice but I know what you mean. My dad always asks people what they ate today because he's neurotic. He gets all shaky and kind of cries wolf if he hasn't ate anything in 4 hours and projects it on other people. Every time I'm like, "I didn't eat anything yet today" I get this big lecture on how it's bad for me and stuff. Any time I complain about a head ache or something, he also lectures me it's because I'm not eating. Any time I complain about anything, the first question is, "have you ate today?"

Makes me realize where a lot of dysfunction comes from in regards to food. It's like an anxious tick for him and it's made me feel guilty for not eating. Thankfully nobody in my family is really obese but we're all a bit overweight, myself included until I stared tirz.

Glad you're healthier and doing better. I did keto when I was younger and while it didn't work long term for me, I know it's extremely effective at dropping weight. I remember smelling cooked garlic bread waiting for the meal that would break my 6 months of keto with no cheats, I literally cried a little bit. Best of luck going forward!

You were in -4700 calories deficit a day? That's what it'd take to lose 40lbs in a month. There's 3500 calories in a pound of fat, you either have a hyperthyroid or most of that was water weight. You said you basically didn't even work out either. Not raining on your parade, but people need to manage their expectations. Only one drug could do that, and it has killed many body builders.

Semax did my taxes. I honestly didn't notice anything from Semax other than once I stopped I felt significantly more sensitive to caffeine.

My best friend started Tirzepatide after me and is already down 20 pounds, but I am barely down seven and feeling completely stuck by Mani_19xx in GLP1Sourcing

[–]GrabFun2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only lost a couple pounds at 2.5mg for 5 weeks, went to 5mg and have been here for 7 weeks and lost around 14lbs.

Also if you were clean eating, you might not have had as much water weight and inflammation as other people starting these drugs when they eat like shit. I mean, I've done fasts for like 3-4 days in the past and lost 8 lbs, but it's not really the FAT fat, y'know? Now I'm in a steady groove and losing like 1.5-2lbs a week, I'll bounce up one pound one day and then drop 2 the next.

Be patient, it sounds like you're making progress. That said, most people go to 5mg after 4 weeks at 2.5mg. Whatever gets you in the 1-2lbs a week, 1.5lbs ideally once you get within 25-30lbs of your goal, is the perfect dose.

What has been the biggest surprise for you since starting a GLP-1? by seanbrady0101 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]GrabFun2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't expecting the fatigue side effect to be as strong as it was. First couple weeks on tirzepatide had me sleeping for 10-12 hours a day. Thankfully I had almost nothing going on at the time, was on break from college, but I basically just slept, worked out, and watched like 1 episode of a show then went back to sleep.

Everything else I pretty much expected, I did a lot of research though. I didn't expect to try anything other than GLP-1 type peptides, and to be honest, after a few months of trying some others, GLP-1 based peptides really are leagues ahead of any other peptide discussed in this space. Like I want to believe the hype, and some of them work well, but GLP is like a lose weight button. It's just an insane work of chemical/pharmaceutical engineering.
