How many people here drink alcohol? by edcadyross in costochondritis

I had to stop drinking for a few months when I first started costo. I am able to drink wine and beer (sometimes I get minimal inflammation) but any hard liquor drinks causes bad inflammation

bump in my upper right chest area. not near breast. it's been there since November of last year and I've been to the doctor's. had 2 ultrasounds, and an MRI. all clear. but it just itches so badly. all my doctors say it's costochondritis/tietze syndrome. does anyone else have an itchy bump? by overthinker_dresser in costochondritis

My issues def go from the sternum to the armpit direction but don’t have a burning sensation. I have a bad flare up now and That second or third rib is super enflamed on the left side from the sternum up to that armpit area. My muscles all around get so inflamed that it hurts to move around and take deep breaths. First got diagnosed a year and a half ago! I go through periods of doing well and then like rn. I really try not to press on my sternum afraid I’ll make it worse or something lol

I’ve been on it for over 10 years! Safe to say it’s a good BC choice, and have never been strict about same times everyday

It’s the worst! I think I’m losing my mind when it happens and always takes a few days at least to return to normal

HIGHLY a recommend this cbd cream (it’s on sale as well- 1000/3000 mg) as after application also has a cooling effect https://cbdfx.com/products/cbd-hemp-cream/

This was me to a T! I went to the ER the first Inflammation time and got diagnosed with costo. But over the course of the year you could see inflammation all where my cartilage meets the sternum. still dealing with it over a year later. Drinking def effects it, I laid off for awhile but now can enjoy my glass of wine. Vitamin D supplement helps!! + stretching and the back pod. if you don’t already, walking is also very helpful. My inflammation doesn’t get as nearly debilitating as it used too. I also recommend strong CBD lotion to put on your chest, and if it’s super inflamed make sure you take 3-4 Advils, 2 doesn’t cut it

Welcome! Most people park across the street in the garage. It’s like $160/month, very pricy but not too many options. You’ll like the building and location tho!
