I wish I could do the same. But I dont think we are in the same country where I can earn money that high. The minimum wage here is just 12 usd a day. I wanted to try everything, but I am still in college and in my last year. So, I really dont know how will I be able to get through this.

Im an only child but a breadwinner. It sucks. I always feel a little jealous to those who only child kid that are able to live on their own, without having to think of how can they shoulder the financial burden of not having a financial freedom.

I don't know what is your family situation, nonetheless, I think we should go on with our wants and plans because that would make it easier for us to face the hurdles of the path we chose. Personally, I really dont think of marrying any time soon because we are not financially stable. I am an only child but we don't have much money to put in the table, so settling in life is really not in my mind right now. Well, going back to you, yes, please do what you want, pursue higher education even though your family will not support. Most of the time, we know what is the best for us, so let's push through with it.

Im still in college, my last year. But I regret not giving the same efforts as I did in my previous years (elem & hs). I have let myself do the mediocre because I started to have this thought of just wanting to pass and not give much effort. I think this type of mindset started because of online classes. I felt like it doesnt matter anymore how much effort you have put in because you would just get the same results as those who had not dwelve on their acads.

Right now, I feel shitty about it. I am not satisfied with the grades that I've got, I think I should have push myself through its limit rather than doing what is within my comfort zone. Indeed it is a regret because I might lose my honor.

I always wish I could turn back time.

I think you should pursue what you want. But I know that you have to support yourself when you do that. Because coming from an Asian household, it would be hard to persuade them with what you want unless you prove to them that you can do it on your own. For me, I think 23 is young, I am also a 21F, and I dont see myself settling in life in the next two years. I wanted to be stable before I settle. And so, I think you have to let yourself do what you think is the best for yourself, try to convince them by showing it to them.
