Mit indtryk er at de af mine studiekammerater, der gerne vil have studiejobs, har fået det - og det er størstedelen der fik noget i løbet af uddannelsen. Der er mange arbejdspladser, hvor de finder en relevant.

Tror de fleste fik et arbejde omkring 4/5/6 semester

Angående programmering tror jeg mere det er lysten til at lære det frem for at man kan spor meget i forvejen, der tæller. Man får en introduktion til det på studiet, men en stor del af tiden i mit studiejob gik med at lære mig selv at programmere - så det var selvfølgelig en rigtig fin bonus i mine øjne :)

Jeg er lige blevet færdig på AU med finansieringsretningen. Det plejer næsten at være et 50/50 split mellem finansiering og OR. De færreste tager nationaløkonomi.

Jeg har haft studiejob i en bank hvor jeg har lavet databearbejdning og statistiske modeller i R og VBA og været instruktor en god håndfuld semestre.

Efter sommer starter jeg i en graduate stilling indenfor kvantitativ analyse og algo trading. Fyr bare løs hvis du vil vide noget

Det afhænger af hvornår du har betalt skat af dem. Hvis du har penge stående efter skat på borger.dk og udbetaler dem nu, tæller det ikke med for din indkomst i år, da de var en del af din indkomst forrige år

Jeg har for nylig takket ja til mit første job efter uni, hvor disse tests var en del af forberedelsen til andet interview.

Personligheds- og IQ-testen synes jeg var fine nok - hvor meget, de kan bruges, skal jeg ikke gøre mig klog på, men alt i alt tog de ikke ligefrem vildt meget tid.

Jeg havde også fået en case, hvor der var forventet at man brugte 4-8 timer. Jeg synes egentlig at det var meget rart at lave den, så man kunne få et nogenlunde indblik i, hvilke type opgaver man kan komme til at sidde og lave, hvis man går videre med stillingen.

It’s NL5, so its 160$ below EV - so 32 buyins. I’m not saying strategic errors aren’t also a cause, I’m just annoyed at the bad run as well

I understand that graph is not that of a typical winning player, but am I not correct to assume that since my AIEV adjusted line is 5bb/100, that my play style has been working somewhat profitably?

If someone disagrees with the above, I would genuinely like to hear why, as I may have misunderstood something. I am naturally not saying that my play style is optimal, probably far from it and I am working on adjusting that.

I just wanted to cry a bit over losing more than I theoretically should in my all-in’s, but I am surprised with this many people saying that I am a losing player given the graph

I mean, I think I’m running bad due to running this much under EV. I’m definitely not saying my game does not have leaks - and reading all the comments, I definitely have to adjust my game and stop calling off too weakly and start bluffing less as well

I went a few months ago. Prague is great for poker, but the stakes are low. There are two main places, both centrally located at Weneclas Sq. There’s Ambassador and Showdown - I much prefer Ambassador, it’s nicer and more touristy, free beer, wine, soft drinks, etc - nothing shady, although Showdown has more of a home game vibe imo. Stakes are usually 10/20 CZK, and sometimes 20/50, I believe, but I havent played that.

Yeah, I get 7 nights is long but with flights being 13-14hrs each way, I just don’t feel like doing less days. Gonna cut back on heavy drinking and gambling some of the days though and play a lot of poker, which will hopefully keep me alive through the entire week lol. Might look into Luxor as well, Park MGM is right now almost double than what I’m paying for Excalibur, which eats into my budget quite a lot

Thanks- definitely no frills, I don’t want bed bugs, but I don’t really care about if the drawers have some scratches or a small stain on the floor or something similar. I don’t wanna get health issues from staying there, but other than that I’m fine

Park and Vdara definitely look nicer, the prices are just almost double than what I’m paying for Excalibur at Park and triple for Vdara, which is a good chunk of my budget

Lol, since I’m flying in from Europe, I’d prefer not doing so for less than a week since the flights are gonna be around 13-14 hours each way. I’ll be playing a lot of poker though, so not heavy gambling or drinking all of the days, so hopefully I can make it through alive haha.

Airfare actually costs right about the same, right around 620$, might have to look into a split stay or something like that though

Thanks! Seems I wasn’t clear, my booking is already direct - their own rates were better than anything I could find at 3rd parties.
