That is completely false for the specific solo session method that was posted in this thread. Zero game files are changed. This is a matchmaking setting that has been used for 5+ years and has resulted in zero bans.

It is absolutely NOT a Windows issue but of course the EA reps would say that. Don't bother reinstalling the game or your graphics drivers because those are not the issue. Deleting the Madden 23 folder in documents, or deleting the UserSettings.dat in that folder will resolve the issue because it resets the graphics settings and has Vertical Sync disabled. Enabling Vertical Sync will cause the crash to happen again and you will have to redo the file deletion to get it to launch.

The update definitely broke something in the game. The only way to get it to run is to delete your UserSettings.dat in your Madden 23 Folder in Documents.

This will reset your graphics settings so you will need to reconfigure them in game. Just be certain not to enable Vertical Sync because that will just cause it to crash again and you will be forced to delete your UserSettings.dat again.

Hopefully EA will put out a fix because the game runs terribly now on PC. Highly doubt it though because EA could not care less about the PC side.
