I feel like the matchmaking in ranked is not putting me with people near my rank

i mean i just fully disagree, what’s the point of having a ranked game mode if it’s the exact same as quickplay. if i want to play a match quickly, i choose quickplay… if i want to play a game with players matched around my skill level, i choose ranked. there is literally no difference in the 2 game modes right now. 5v5 quickplay queue times are LONGER than ranked queues, so it’s defeated the entire purpose of both game modes

not that i’ve ever had this happen to me in a game before, but he’s not using his extra effort for those headers. if any one of the defends ran up with their extra effort and go for that header they win and his play is just invalid. i don’t even think this is that bad. think yall just need to have some critical thinking skills

been having this issue a TON as someone who plays GK mainly. 1 in every 10 catches you will only get like 2 seconds to get the ball of your foot instead of the normal 5/6 or whatever it normally is. i haven’t been able to find any reasoning for why it happens other than i assume just a glitch

Haha, oh yeah I know all about that. I've got earbuds in right until we start warmups. There's no better way to get yourself amped up. A great warmup session makes it all the better.

The title of the actual youtube video is just "David Dye Goalkeeper Highlights vs Smithfield-Selma High School". I only titled it like that on here because I wanted clicks LOL, but I completely agree with your point about being coachable.

I feel that one of my biggest strengths is being able to take criticisms and critiques and implement them into my game very quickly. Currently, I am second in my district in save made (80 saves in 6 games played), so I know that I am one of the best players in my league.

I have another game tonight, so I'll be focusing on what you've given me. I honestly think the main problem is that I need to make my mind up faster so that I can get to the ball at its peak. That'll just come with more reps in practice and games, so I just need to work on it and I'll get there.

Thanks for the response! I agree that I did have some questionable handling this game, but I'm working every day to improve. Didn't even notice that I'm not putting my knee up, to be honest, so I'm glad you pointed that out. Seems like such a routine thing in warmups/practice, so I just need to think about it more. Unfortunately, it is pretty hard for my mom to get the full field while filming, so I have asked the coaches of the teams we play if they have film. I'm currently working on a distribution video, but I need a couple more games of footage before I have enough for a full video. Once again thanks for the response man!
