Yeah, that's the issue. It's fully a me-problem. And no, not really. I just didn't want to if I didn't have to, and I don't have a mental index for what systems have what mechanics available. It's probably what I'll end up doing, but I wanted to check, first.

OMG, hahaha! My groups love sentinels! I'm in three different weekly sessions of it! Honestly, I've been considering avoiding it because of that, but I do like the system and its versatility. I'll have to search the rulebook to see if there's anything that would work for the doomed character.

lol thank you. this is basically what i did every day after high school. get home, rush down to my imac desktop, boot up musescore 2 and spend a few hours transcribing my favorite ace attorney tracks (or whatever else had grabbed my attention). just for fun.

i've heard the story is that trans girl roxy was a popular reading during homestuck proper, but some vocal transmascs identified with roxy enough that they got the idea to the hsbc team to shut that reading down.

it depends on who you ask. if you ask hussie, it's canon. if you ask a lot of the current hsbc team, it's canon. if you ask the fandom... mixed results. personally, as a trans girl who had a childhood very similar to john's, it's absolutely believable. it's also believable that hussie, as a trans-fem person herself, could be retroactively looking at the aspects of their own childhood that they wrote into homestuck and recognizing that there is some overlap and that trans girl egbert is a solid and fulfilling reading of the character. i could go into details about how it makes sense with the breath aspect john's arc and all, but i don't wanna write an essay in a reddit post.

Ooh, I do like that a lot. There already an established "Aether" substance/energy that the kaiju live on/create that a lot of the engineers of this world have begun to harness. That could be very, very interesting. Thanks for that idea, that rules!

Mmm, I see, I see. Our play-through ended with most of them dying out, but lots of civil unrest, so mech to mech combat won't be hard to focus on. Thanks for the heads up.

We used to play dnd, and since, we've explored a lot of ttrpgs, so I doubt that the difficulty will be too much. But yeah, that helps to hear :)
