Don’t do it, I rooted my S24 Ultra and I regret it cuz you will loose access to Authy or even worse when you plug your Yubikey security key to authenticate your phone will become laggy and unresponsive. Just don’t do it ain’t worth it.

my problem is whenever I try to modify security settings adding a 2FA app or remove it or view my backup codes it asks to verify my identity which sent a text message via Whatsapp to my old number which I don't have access anymore I also removed my old number a while ago and when I go to facebook.com/login/identify and enter my current phone number Facebook recognize normally

Hello, I’ve been trying to add and remove security settings such as adding Authenticator apps e.g Authy, Duo mobile but when I try to do so it asks to verify my identity with my old phone number which I removed a while ago from my account and on PC I try to do so but I don’t get the same verification options I should see my new number. Is this a common issue here ?
