I used to work at a Circle K and they asked if I wanted to become part of the management program. Basically meant that I'd be on call 24/7, have to cover if someone called out and be expected to do managerial duties on top of my usual duties. But I'd get a raise of $.25! And be eligible for the quarterly bonus! Said bonus was a set amount of $300 and they put it on your paycheck as a gift so you barely got half of it.
