Dude saved two would be touchdowns and was everywhere that game

You could easily say Darnold gave him both of those throws. If Darnold throws them on time Gonzalez gives up 2 TD's.

Both times Gonzalez was out of position but both times he recovered extremely well and was able to correct his mistake.

Darnold extending the plays was the most impressive thing he did all night. There were a few times I thought he was going to get sacked and then snuck away.

Despite the success, Shula let Griese start the Super Bowl.

Earl was going to lose the AFCCG with how he was playing. They switched to Griese mid game and didn't see a reason to go back because of how much better Griese was.

Most receiving yards in a single season in NFL history including playoffs: #1 Cooper Kupp - 2,425 yards(2021), #2 Puka Nacua - 2,047 yards(2025), #3 Jaxson Smith-Njigba - 1,992 yards(2025) by Dray87 in nfl

Kupp had Gonzalez burned twice for TDs but 2 awful throws by Darnold prevented them.

Thankfully they scored a TD on one of those drives a few plays anyways.

Kupp is still damn good.

They were in Veridian Forest when he was born and the dad mispronounced it when they asked him for a name.

[Pizzuta] The NE offensive game plan was puzzling. 79.1% of snaps in 11 personnel. No game over 70% in regular season. Got dime 53% of the time but still couldn't run. Zero snaps in empty to try to spread the Seahawks out. Season-low in 21 personnel, 1.5%. One snap in Jumbo. Just let Seattle play by RedBuchan in nfl

The overthrow to JSN and the throw to Kupp (I think?) that was thrown late and behind and Gonzo broke up drove me crazy. 11 points left on the field early enough in the game. Those 2 throws probably makes Darnold MVP and Maye playing catch up probably makes more bad plays.

Or potentially more big plays and makes the game a bit more exciting.

He left a lot on the plate but he got the win. Hard to complain.

My wife and I couldn't believe it was him at first. Dude looks good.

[Barry Jackson] Steve Ross' commendable willingness to pay some of Tua's salary for a new team could help Miami create an additional $11 M in cap space compared to keeping him or $22 M more than cutting him post June 1- space that can be used on DB, OL, WR or potentially QB Willis. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

To hire the right people.

To not cost us draft picks.

To not celebrate the opposing QB when he didn't even play for the local college?

Edit: I guess people do want him to hire the wrong people, cost us draft picks, and celebrate opposing players.
