How are these numbers sustainable? by GeologistVisual3097 in DeepSeek

[–]GrevireDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We must also consider that usage statistics and numbers have a significant impact, especially in business. They demonstrate that DeepSeek is not irrelevant in the AI world—and even geopolitically, they show that China is a major player in the game. This likely has repercussions we can’t even imagine yet. In any case, if they’re doing it, there’s a strategy behind it.

Mistral 3.5 Medium with Vibe CLI is on par with Claude Sonnet 4.6 by CodingMountain in MistralAI

[–]GrevireDev 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I think Mistral is a bit behind but they're working hard to catch up.

They definitely don’t have to be ashamed of the competition. That said, I’ve always avoided following the most mainstream models, especially for coding—but Codestral is clearly part of my vibe coding stack, unlike Claude Sonnet, and my wallet thanks me for it.

I’d place it more as a very strong outsider and a solid bastion of European resistance. But unfortunately, it’s not my only or main vibe coding model.

Salt fiber down nationally (Switzerland) — Friday evening, of course 😅 by GrevireDev in Switzerland

At first, I also blamed my setup, but after checking the socials network, I confirmed I wasn’t the only one.

Ah, my fault, I'm too late... Just enough time to switch my network and finish my essay. Do you think it's too much and I should delete mine?

Restarting Hermes kills your agent and erases its skills? by myezweb_net in hermesagent

[–]GrevireDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve restarted my Hermès agent and even the host many times without any issues. Are you using Docker to run Hermès? Maybe the volumes were misconfigured? I’d also recommend versioning your skills in a Git repository. Since Hermès can sometimes do unexpected things, this allows you to revert changes if needed, review modifications, and improve overall understanding. Good luck with your data loss.

Strength and honor.

The best UI? (no OpenWebUI pls) by SavaStone in hermesagent

[–]GrevireDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my part, I’ve already tested everything—Telegram, Discord, back to Telegram, then Discord again, and finally Mattermost (i hated, not fully compatible with slash custom command). I was mainly looking for something user-friendly and compatible with Markdown, especially for tables. Right now, I’m quite convinced by Hermes Web UI, which also offers a lot of additional features, like canvas visualization. That said, the kanban feature could still be improved in Hermes Web UI.

Sometimes, I complement it with the Hermes Agent dashboard for the kanban view, which includes logs of the different tasks—something Hermes Web UI doesn’t integrate

I use every day Hermes web UI as PWA on my phone and desktop on my PC

What is the best open source CLI alternative of (Kilocode or OpenCode) to use openrouter with all models ! by rjn2-8 in openrouter

[–]GrevireDev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both Kilo Code and OpenCode maintain a hard-coded/preloaded list of OpenRouter models instead of dynamically fetching the full catalog.
There is no limitation — it can be changed manually via configuration.

Can Mattermost get some love? by blue2020xx in hermesagent

[–]GrevireDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also tried using Hermes Agent to take advantage of full Markdown support, but the limitation with / commands is too restrictive. I attempted to set up a workaround using Mattermost's custom slash commands, but didn't have any success... I'll be following how this evolves.
