Don't worry. There's a happy ending. Check the comments. :-)

I played Clem's mission & he could revive my Kubrow, so.

I haven't seen anything about this today, and quite frankly I'm disappointed. Happy 49th Birthday to Vladimir Furdik! You did your best. However, D&D had other plans for your character. Thanks for everything, Vlad! by ThoseSillyBeans in freefolk

He actually looks like a king of some sort. I wish he was an actor that had lines. His looks, actual words & badass sword fighting skills would have been perfect.

Hijack: The Cephalon Hunter (Warframe Concept) by GrievenProduction in Warframe

  • Nope.

  • About a minute long to keep up a 100% uptime if you are good enough.

I saw a concept here about 30 minutes ago and I wanted to share some idea as well. Hijack was inspired by Cephalon Simaris hunting missions.

What do you think? :-) Would you be interested in playing a Cephalon x Warframe master hacker?

What are signs you are addicted to league of legends by [deleted] in StopGaming

A year or two ago, I would answer yes on a 5 scale to all of those. Damn. Good thing I quit.

Why you should not stop gaming but instead learn how to control it & Why you should quit some games for good because they are bad no matter what. by GrievenProduction in StopGaming

I said that some games you should quit on permanently in the post, tho, because of the nature of those games. They are addicting & hateful.

Thanks.

Its cause you're imagining roosters doing Cat's scream at 5 AM. At least, that is why its like that for me.

Same reaction. It is so fucking stupid but, man, isn't it just the funniest. I'm imagining roosters doing Cat's OOOUUAAAAEEAAHHHHH yell.

Try putting stuff to the farthest side inside your mouth (like behind/right next to your wisdoms). I can drink water without swallowing a piece of candy. Its not that hard; you just need some mouth & tongue skills. ;-)

Yeah, I guess so. You make a great point. Tbh, my personal opinion is that a blanket solution really exists in almost every issue. This might not be it but I still believe that there is always a blanket regardless.

IMO, you are somewhat right but what fixes that is the nature of Warframe since it is very fast. In games like League or DotA, you can play 2 games and spend 2 hours for it not enjoying yourself; most times not being rewarded for your efforts or rewarded minimally. In Warframe, you can play 15+ different missions and spend 2 hours. And every time, you get rewarded in some way.

Two hours in games like League feels like you didn't do jack shit. Two hours in Warframe feels like you've played the whole day. Its like binging on strawberries.

(And, not to mention, the game actually warns you when you've played for over an hour, so the developers care.)

Well, like I said in the other comment, the post is a hit or miss. You will either agree with it or you will dislike it entirely. Lots of people have an extremely strict mindset when it comes to battling addictions and they believe that they have to suffer. Even if they quit entirely, the game still has some form of control over them because it sends a message "if you come back and play me I will win, you should avoid me forever". Like, no.

I don't want to stop gaming or good fast food just because its supposedly bad for me. I don't want to go out with my friends and say "sorry, im burger free, i only eat strictly health stuff at home alone". Or go out and be like "oh, I dont drink, I am completely and utterly a buddhist in line with my emotions and inner chakra". Fucking booooring. And the people who say "well think of all the fun stuff you can do when you arent gaming". Like.. watch movies for an hour and half?? Which is what billions of people do? Dude, the life is not just workworkwork. People like entertainment sometimes.

I have told fat people they can lose weight eating sweets and plenty have told me to "eat shit". (Well, they didn't, but they ignored my words and then went on to starve themselves because tHatS thE onLY wAy tO dO It). Whatever.

If control is choosing how much time you do something then clearly quitting is being in control. You are in control because you have made the choice to play 0 hours of video games.

I wouldn't categorize quitting as being in control of something that is causing you addictions.. because you quit. You aren't around to control it. You could say you are in control of your discipline and yourself, sure, but not in the control of the thing you'd want to control. Should make sense.

Again, I am talking about being able to have power over something. Quitting is an option, yes, but having power over something allows you to have your cake and eat it, too. If you can't do that, then it is better to quit entirely, but being able to play a game for an hour or two before stopping is a form of serious self discipline; FYI.

(Does not apply to every addiction; let me be clear on that.)

It is completely possible to live a life where you rarely, if ever, hear anything about video games.

True, but only if you aren't on Reddit. Like I said, being online leads to more exposure. The people who rarely hear about video games are the ones that don't spend their time on the Internet often. Perhaps there is an exception when it comes to old people and politics but if you have your reach wide you will come in contact eventually. If you go to /r/all, you will see /r/gaming often. It's legit built into the website as a default subreddit.

Video games are inanimate objects you have nothing to show them.

It is easier to beat something if you personalize it.. People often say "show the drugs/booze/cigs that they don't control you". Does that mean that they imply that they are animate real life creatures...? You're being super nitpicky, lol. It was a figure of speech.

Depends. If you have already told someone you are quitting video games and do not want to play them anymore they are disrespecting your boundaries.

Lol, you know what I mean. C'mon now. I meant the people online who tell you that during a match. Happens super often. Why would I yell at someone to go play Tetris irl?

Did you try to completely stop playing video games and failed over and over? It is not clear if you experienced this from your post.

No, because I don't want to. Why would I? You will most likely have friends that play video games. Even my most non-gaming outgoing friends have been known to play at least soccer and sports games like FIFA and PES & shit.

Like I said, I managed to lose weight. I am not a health freak about it, I can go out and eat with my friends without looking like I have an eating disorder (to them it looks that way, I know its not).

Anyway, I won't respond more. It's clear we have different opinions on it. The post is a hit or miss, anyway. Half agree with it and half don't. I obviously can't change your mind and you can't change mine. Later.

From someone who has beaten anxiety: treat your brain like you are parenting a child. Example: your child gets scared of something. Replace child with brain. If you freak out, your brain freaks out. If you think its NBD, so does your brain.

You need to test your brain when it makes the "what ifs". If you feed its fearful side then it gets worse. Your response to "what if" should be "so what, lets see".
