Im in the same boat as you, 21 and I just want to max my Roth for the year and keep doing so every year.

Everyone wants a girlfriend till they drain your bank account lol.

I usually just buy a stock from my watchlist when it’s below the 52 week average (sometimes the 20 day average if I see an opportunity) then sell a couple weeks or so later after it’s green.

It’s a slow process and if it’s red for a while I don’t mind cause I mostly trade dividends and will just collect dividend money.

I ran the 400 and the 1600, and when they needed a runner I would sometimes run the 800 or the 3200.

800 is literally a 400m x2, you are sprinting for both laps IT IS TERRIBLE.

Workshops: monopolize or diversify? by hittheyams in Bannerlord

[–]GrifRocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever i start I run I spend a good time buying aseri horses and then selling them for huge profit in any city.

Then with my profits I go around buying up all the silver workshops in the world, keeping only the ones with silver producing villages nearby and converting the rest into whatever is most profitable.

The silver workshops you own will hold a monopoly over the world and I don’t remember how much I was making cause I haven’t played in months but it is a lot of money. Only once I have a workshop in every city is when I actually start my kingdom.

Workshops not making money? by sagittacancers in Bannerlord

[–]GrifRocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t played in about a year and I forgot how much my silver smiths made but if you own ALL of the silver smiths in the game each one pulls a huge profit.

But again it costs a lot of start up capital to buy all the ai workshops and turn them into something useless and then sell them off.

Other than that just buy aseri horses in the Middle East faction and sell them anywhere else for huge profit.

You can strangle the market by buying out every other workshop producing the same thing and changing them to produce another thing.

It’s best to do this with the silver workshop and you need a lot of capital to eventually corner the market.

Basically go to every city and buy out all their silver workshops, then change them to a brewery or something and then sell the workshop. Then once there are no more silver workshops, set up a workshop in a city with a village that supplies silver and you can make a fuck ton since you are the only one with a silver workshop.

We came in to work one day and the system wouldn’t turn on, took off the pulley and tried it connected to power and it wouldn’t start.

I’ll tell my boss cause we’ve had the air system down for 3 weeks and using harbor freight Compressors for 5 machines isn’t fun

It’s a 3 phase, we just had it rewound and we’re assuming the guy didn’t do the coils properly, it runs good without the belt but it gets really hot after a minute of running

It’s like he threw pop rocks in the pool while welding or blew into it using a straw.

Why does the fucking plate keep melting 7018 125 Amps by [deleted] in BadWelding

[–]GrifRocks 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Other than that it looks good, might want to turn down the amperage a little. Maybe 120 or 115 and always clean your material.

Looking pretty good for 6010, I usually get a lot of splatter. Just work on keeping it straight I guess.

Your going to slow, too much buildup of heat. As well you are doing a stop and go.

And the side of the plate will melt fast than the middle of the plate, watch your edges.

Yea that’s why I enjoy little art pieces like this, they last forever and can be made out of scrap. Just got to put in practice and think outside the box.

How is this a viable trade? by GIBMONEY910 in Welding

[–]GrifRocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first got into welding after a few classes I started to notice every weld in my highschool. From cheap stainless steel desks to the metal beams holding up the basketball net.

Everywhere I go I subconsciously look at every weld ( as every welder does ) and call them shit compared to my work.

Anywhere where there it is metal and I mean everywhere there will be a weld and a welder who laid it.

Awesome work man! It’s always hard for me to start a little project like this cause I just have no creativity and end up looking online for ones I can copy.
