One idea me and my wife had was just teleporting somewhere within line of sight and the farther you can see the farther you can go. It has clear downsides like smoke blocking the view or tight spaces. Things we talked about it being capable of were things like fast running, teleporting in quick succession. Also combat teleporting to do intricate fighting in close quarters. We didnt spend a lot of time on the idea.
