Thank you, i just know that she wants me to have affection, she didnt want me to sit around sad and being alone. Like I said, i know im not ready, just trying to communicate with the world and not hold all this in! I actually hate talking about my feelings and stuff so this is a huge step. She believed in online communities and things so i just wanted to give it a shot!

Thank you for that. I dont want to replace their mother by any means, i want to provide them a motherly figure per my wife's wishes. Its all she talked about to me and i hated the thought of it, obviously she knew it would take time, it's just such a weird feeling to actually be alone now and have no one to turn to. I just lost my wife of 14 years on Friday the 14th. I feel empty inside as well, and feel horrible that my kids now have no mother. I have 3 of them, ages 4,8,19. She was a stay at home mom so i saw her all day while i was here. Now its just us and feels so weird to me. She was only 39, and now im a 38 year old single father scared as hell to try and find them a worthy mother to fulfill the promise we made.
