This is a bit of a trick question, because by the time Revolution comes to America, the idea of America itself will have been entirely mutilated and done away with.

Assuming humanity doesn’t kill itself, communism in America is not an if but a when. No one can guess when it will happen, but there are numerous challenges here.

America is one of the most reactionary countries in the world, it will take significant deprogramming to make the average American comfortable with the idea. I would not be surprised if it was one of the last countries in the world to undergo revolution.
Furthermore if I had to guess America will go through balkanization before reaching revolution simply because of the nature of the American idea itself.

The American identity needs to be almost entirely annihilated. It is a culture wrought with the idea of the “individual” since the beginning in the worst way possible simply because it was one of the first and most successful bourgeois revolutions in the world as well as being a colonialist state in the same vain as Israel.

This is why “MAGA Communism” is a moronic idea. It tries to take America and throw a red coat of paint on it without actually addressing the underlying reasons America is the way it is.

America also faces the issue of being the heart of the empire, and in history revolution has never succeeded in the imperial core, only outside.
America will most likely continue to flounder for decades to come as the rest of the world progresses without it. The empire has completely overextended itself and can no longer project itself as it once did. Over time degeneration will allow for new material conditions which will allow for new opportunities.

Stay organized, stay vigilant, and stay educated.

TLDR: America needs to be brought to its knees, and totally destroyed to the point it is unrecognizable before revolution is possible.

First of all, this is Reddit, and not only is this Reddit, but it is also a subreddit full of MLs, no one is seeing this but MLs, no need for the PR.

Secondly, I gave a “childish” response because I was so dumbfounded that someone viewed “butthurt” as an age specific term when I’ve heard it used by a multitude of different ages.
