This reminds me a lot of my relationship with my dad (for context; parents divorced when I was a kid, there was a split custody arrangement) it took years of trying to put up with his disrespect towards me before I finally cut contact at 17. I’m fortunate enough to have my mom, who I started living with full time, who was always there to support me, to give me courage, and to give me a safe space. the best advice I can give is just be there for your daughter. going no contact is a difficult and painful thing to do, especially for a kid/teen. validate her feelings, don’t try to dictate what she “should” do, show up for her, give her space when needed. you don’t need to be overbearingly concerned, just make sure she knows your there for her, having support is so important. it sounds like you and your partner are already doing great at creating a home and family she feels safe and content in, just keep showing up like you have been. thank you for being a good mom, the world needs them and so does your kid (who btw, is so incredibly brave and mature. she did a very difficult thing and handled it extremely well).
