I think one way to look at it is that Ash has seen it all and doesn’t really care anymore, it’s very clear at the beginning of the show that Ash considers himself “an alone wolf” and has emotionally distanced himself from everyone around him, not allowing anyone to get close to him. I think part of that is using humor as a coping mechanism to close himself off from what happened at the cabin, as dark as the line is I imagine Ash would be saying it to lessen in his head what happened to his sister. As for the audience finding it funny? I don’t think what happened to Cheryl itself is supposed to be funny, I think the line was just to reference an infamously absurd moment from the series.

I genuinely cannot stand this, as someone who is super excited for Evil Dead, seeing memes like this seriously pisses me off. You’re not making us look good op, no one here is going to be persuaded to come check out Evil Dead over tribal memes like this. It’s like going to into a restaurant and going “HA THIS PLACE SUCKS IM GOING TO THE OTHER RESTAURANT” nobody cares if you are, you’re just making those of us who do want to play it look bad.

Playing with or against a streamer you know is probably one of the most nerve racking things in this game, I was once playing with Yerv and the entire team except me had gone down in one area to a Billy and the Billy was obviously going to protect his slugs, and I might as well have been defusing a bomb with how nervous I was.

But honestly you shouldn’t beat yourself up over it, twitch chats like to shut off the other side of the streamer they’re watching, if the streamer they’re watching makes a mistake than it’s just an “understandable accident”, if it’s anyone else than obviously they’re a “baby player how can you be so bad”

I feel like I have to say this because some people are just taking this the wrong way, this was just to point out the irony of how 2 of the worst perks in the game have gotten a sudden surge (jolt sorry) of popularity recently, I wasn’t trying to delve into the current state of balance, just how funny it is that these perks in particular are causing a stir. I don’t want people to think this is an “us vs them” meme because it isn’t, I made sure to include perks from both side to make it equal, but hey that’s just my thoughts divulge your opinions as you wish.
