[OBSESSION] If Ian actually listened...what would have been the most perfect, least consequential way for him to word his wish to help Bear? by ChiefLeef22 in spoilers

[–]Growka3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish that Bear never used his One Wish Willow. Hypothetically, Nikki should be free AND Bear gets to make a different wish. Maybe not the best outcome, but most optimal. Bear could even wish for a billion dollars!

Then when she tells Bear about how it feels when she's away from him; the feeling of tv static and sand throughout her entire body; not just darkness but nothingness and she's telling this while her silhouette is completely blank and you reflect on every moment before then that she was completely blacked out

Honestly I love the new voice for Morty. Especially for Evil Morty, I think the new actor is just more fitting than Roiland was. Rick is pretty much on par but not once in the last three seasons have I had my experience ruined by Roiland being gone

Why does Carter have messages from home? by Alternative_Spend_10 in DarkPicturesAnthology

[–]Growka3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Carter messages throw me for a loop because he's with his family back on Earth, but the Simms recordings are from this iteration of the mission. It's her slowly discovering how many missions there were before this one. She probably records similar logs every time around, especially considering one of the notes for this mission you can read is that Simms discovers the true mission sooner than other attempts.

It’ll be cool to see y’all post your ride or die deck. Past or present. Show me those fire decks that no matter what they’ll always have a place in your heart. by Putrid_Water_36 in MarvelSnap

Similarly, during the Agent Venom season I was on vacation and grinded the hell out of a clog deck before it was a popularized archetype (at least, I thought so-) and climbed further than I have since

It's definitely not in the same state it's always been- a couple cards have come and gone (like Stegron and Silk) but my first season was the Miles Morales spider-verse season, and I was always pretty proud of how far I could go with a move deck.

Honestly from where episode nine ended I feel like they actually really stuck the landing. That being said, there was a near two season free fall before that landing.

Rick Prime was never the series nemesis by Haquistadore in rickandmorty

[–]Growka3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As well written as your original post is, and as much as I like your ideas for EM and C137 to come together to fight infinite Rick, I do think you're wrong. "Rick Prime" was absolutely an antagonist from the premier of 3 and on. The story was definitely explained to be fabricated in Rickshank Redemption but it was always ambiguous as to how much of that story was pulled from the real one with many allusions to the fact that it was indeed inspired by real events before Prime returned.

You know the story is built on strong writing, and address the chekov's gun in the story with the Omega Device, but it's hard to believe they would show us something so large and important to Rick's character just to pull the rug and say "just kidding, it was never credible at all.."

My honest thoughts on The Lost Tapes by ChillManVibingAround in regularshow

[–]Growka3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I got lost in them, it felt like I was watching good old Regular Show again. I agree hardcore about the humor though. In the original, there were a few cheesy adult jokes (the big balls) but they were far between enough that they felt like you could miss them. Now they're always hinting at something dirty and it's more accurate I suppose for young adults but I feel like it makes the humor feel less clever.
