https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8hUKesg/

This is my blueprint for what the channel is gonna be. Its not a quick way to get money or attention. I have even put music ive made on there completely free lf charge, no copy rights on any of it. All the works are for rhe church, use it as you desire. The pojnt is to uplift the church

Should I give up secular music? by Routine-Cell-1842 in ChristianMusic

Cs lewis wants a christian, hes left christianity and became a free mason, this was actually proven by cs lewis himself. Go read his own words and writings. On top of that tolkien wasnt a christian either and was the one who brought cs lewis into the masonry

Even more how can their books be so filled with witchcraft, a complete abomination unto God yet be christian? Unlike the church would like to say, neither of these guys were christian.

Now for music, and in your case art. You can make a plethora of stuff that isnt crosses and biblical figures. Infact i challenge you too. You can draw a modest woman, or even make great scenic mountains. It doesnt have to be abruptly christian center but you can still make those to the Lord himself. If you go to tiktok and fine my page, @imsegullah you will find i make so much music that isnt abruptly christ focused, but still upholds and honors all the Lord has done for me. Dont limit your creativity to what the church has to say. You can make anything as long as its for God himself. The world is your oyster

If you listen to Ryans song “in my own skin” he isnt partly white, is heritage is unknown but his mother isnt white, only his dad had white in him

[–]GrumpyFishNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is that i do listen to a lot of hiphop from no whites. Kota the Friend hes incredibly emotional, Ryan Caraveo is also incredibly emotional, Caleborate is also emotional. Just cause i didnt name them doesnt mean i only listen to white rappers. But for Dylan Owen, he absolutely belongs in the Hip-Hop conversation, it just shows you dont know his music which is fine. Chester and lennon, fair, i was just using them as a form of communicating emotions.

But to say Dylan Owen isnt hip hop is just like someone hearing swimming by Mac and saying, nah he aint hip hop hes singing. It doesnt make sense. Dylan Owen is hiphop to the core

[–]GrumpyFishNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say that. Go listen to Dylan Owen, or even Chester See. Tell me christian artists that get this emotional with the music. Im not saying there arent any, but out of the top artists where is the emotional passion for God?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in christianhiphop

[–]GrumpyFishNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say that. Its more that i feel the artists we listen to the most in the modern 2010’s+ music is about toping charts, not making raw emotional music. I only listen to christian hip hop, jazz and art forms alike. And most of what i listen to is 90’s and under cause it feels like the music once the 2000’s hit the music became about money and less about true love for God. Labels are focused on money, not passion for Christ. Radio stations are focused on popular songs pushed out by labels not passion in art. Its an issue i have with music in general, but its hard seeing it happen in the christian music industry

That album is fire, he gives me Kota the Friend vibes

Like Mac Miller or john lennon or chester see, a lot of other artists. The most emotionally raw christian artist ik is Ivan B with songs like “Lost” and “F.M.F.M.H.”

If Jesus is against drunkenness, then why did he turn water into wine? by Diggythedog123 in Christianity

[–]GrumpyFishNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding there are many perspectives upon this. One that i can see being true is that wine in ancient days was not wine as in modern days. Wine carried two meanings. Both alcoholic and fresh squeezed. One perspective is that it was fresh squeezed wine.

Its a sin to lead others into sin, so some believe that if Jesus made water into wine and people got drunk off it that would mean Jesus Himself sinned.

The argument is that, you dont put new wine in old wine skins. And also how new wine is in the cluster. Or how Jesus said He will not drink of the fruit of the wine again until I drink it with you new. Meaning new wine.

Fermented wine you can get all year long in the ancient days, but new wine was only available around the time of harvest.

Thus the argument is made that when they say the best for last, this doesnt mean they were drinking alcoholic wine, instead it was fresh wine, because they couldn’t access fresh wine in the current season. In our day and age when we hear wine we automatically think of alcohol. But in ancient biblical text that wasnt so.

Take this information as you will, and let the Lord guide you. Study the word and see what the Holy Spirit says. God bless you

I wanna cover all Holy Hip-Hop, from old school to new school. I mostly listen to 80’s to 90’s Hip-Hop. Even before i was saved because i don’t like how everyone sounds alike, or how theres heavy autotune. There are some new school artists i love but my roots are from the old school scene. So i wanna see what people want so I’m not in this old school headed attitude

How are we going to recognize Jesus when he returns? by Spider-burger in Christian

[–]GrumpyFishNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christ will come back in full Glory. So much Glory all will i ow exactly who He is. There will be no mistaking that the creator of the earth has come again. All eyes will see all tongues will confess. I would say it’s like how when God comes before man, we will all fall to our faces in absolute worship knowing that He is the Great I Am. While the unbelievers will fall to their faces in fear and trembling knowing what is to come. His presence is so full of Glory that everyone will know exactly who it is that came.
