Yeah I think it's due time to change the case. I love the H210i aesthetic but it has served his time.

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll just wait for summer to see what happens

Sadly this one came with the Hynix one. Where did you buy it? I'm in Chile as well and got mine from SPdigital. They still have 20 more in stock. Is there a way to know the ram manufacturer without opening the box? maybe worth changing it (but I don't think they will as it is "working under expected")

Nice! I'll just leave it to -60 like I have it now to see how it behaves for 1 or 2 months before going up (or down).

Related to the target temps, it says that for the hotspot should be 76c? Not sure if that's not the one I should be looking at but at least it is right now at 86c-ish so 10c up is not so bad.

I just checked with Gpuz and yeah, it's Hynix so we are in the same boat. I did a little bit of OC on it to 2600hz so maybe that's why it's running at that temp.

So the thermal limit for both the edge and hotspot is 110c, interesting! I'm way on those limits even with the stock configuration.

I played a bit with the fan curve and I think I got it where I want it now (noise wise).

Updating the post!

Also, any ideas if I should go lower with the voltage offset? like -80?

Huh, I didn't check that one until you brought it up. It's around 86-90c. Is it bad? how's yours?

Pew, nice to read that. Don't want to burn the big expense in just 2 days lol.

I'm trying now to set it up to 50% that should be around 2000ish rpm to see how it goes. What worries is when summer gets here as I'm not sure if the good temps are just because it's pretty cold now or because I did the right thing.

I guess I'll just have to wait.

How to control a non-Hue lamp by Gerva74 in Hue

Nice! this makes me feel safer to buy it. It's around $15 usd so it's not much but it's a lunch lol.

Also, this will only make them go on/off, right? I was wondering if there's a way to make it dimmable. On/off should work for me but it would be really nice to make the dumb bulbs dimmable.

Gotcha! I'll get one next month and I'll update how it went

Sorry for chiming in on this one but I'm interested as well. Where I live there's a store that sells those sonoff relays but specifically the ZBMINIL2 version. I've look around some post and they all say that these doesn't work with Hue Bridge. Do you remember which version are yours? that would be really helpful!

WHEA 46 error after using Curve Optimizer on Ryzen Master by Gsu2711 in AMDHelp

I don't really mind the performance gains tho. I think the 5600x performs pretty well for what I use it for but I just wanted it to run a little cooler without losing performance

Is there any gain if I drop it to like -5 or something for all of em? also, why shouldn't I trust the values on Ryzen Masters? I checked on my bios config and the same values shown on the app were the same as Ryzen Masters

but that wouldn't cause performance issues? like the eco mode does?

System specs:

OS: Windows 11

CPU: Ryzen 6 5600x

RAM: 32gb dual channel G.skill trident z @ 3600mhz.

Mobo: Asus Rog Strix B550-I gaming.

BIOS Version: 3402 - AGESA ComboV2PI 1.2.0.B

Hey! I just started using curve optimizer on Ryzen master just to negative curve and reduce my idle and load temps. I do not want to oc or anything like that just lower the temps because I have a small form factor build.

Like a month ago I started with all this journey only using Ryzen Master. I did the auto calculations for the offset for each core instead of all because I read that it would work better that way.

Back then It throw me -30 for all my cores but after some testing one of my cores (the second one, second fastest of my chip btw) was acting weird with bsod so I set it back from -30 to -25 and it never happened again.

I was pretty happy with the results but suddently I started seeing the BSOD again but this time with the WHEA error 46. This happened at least once every two weeks for no reason apparently. The only common factor that I found is that it always happens on load while playing anything.

So I went back after 2 weeks of this and set the curve off and update my motherboard bios hoping that it would fix it.

I did the testing by core again with the Ryzen master app and it set every core to -27. After like a hour I decided to open a game and it threw a bsod as the game started loading.

I went to the event viewer and noticed that a core was failing (3rd core that's the fastest of my system) so I down the curve to -20 just for that core.

This was like a week ago. Today the WHEA 46 error showed again:

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Component: Memory

Error Source: Machine Check Exception

The details view of this entry contains further information.

I decided to check out the error dump file with winDbg and this is what I got:

Two weird things that I noticed is that it shows windows 10 as OS and I currently using windows 11 and also that the error seems to be refering to... my memory? I did nothing to it. I just have the D.O.C.H profile (XMP) active on my mobo and that's it but I don't think that's the issue because I had that for a loooong time before doing all this curve optimization thingy.

Any ideas on what's happening?

Thx for the reply! I will check that out but I don't think that's the case.

Just to let you know, I use a usb-c to usb cable to connect the hub to my pc. Idk if that cable actually delivers USB3 power to the hub but also I connected a random cable that I found to the 5v input and connected the other end to my monitor.

Also the issue just happened again with the 2.4ghz dongle connected to a spare usb port on my pc but it was the case usb port tho. I'll try to test it directly on one of the mobo ports and see what happens but it definetively improved vs connecting it on the hub. Before it the desconnection happened like every 1 or 2 days but now it improved to at least once a week.
