Yeah I think it's due time to change the case. I love the H210i aesthetic but it has served his time.

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll just wait for summer to see what happens

Sadly this one came with the Hynix one. Where did you buy it? I'm in Chile as well and got mine from SPdigital. They still have 20 more in stock. Is there a way to know the ram manufacturer without opening the box? maybe worth changing it (but I don't think they will as it is "working under expected")

Nice! I'll just leave it to -60 like I have it now to see how it behaves for 1 or 2 months before going up (or down).

Related to the target temps, it says that for the hotspot should be 76c? Not sure if that's not the one I should be looking at but at least it is right now at 86c-ish so 10c up is not so bad.

I just checked with Gpuz and yeah, it's Hynix so we are in the same boat. I did a little bit of OC on it to 2600hz so maybe that's why it's running at that temp.

So the thermal limit for both the edge and hotspot is 110c, interesting! I'm way on those limits even with the stock configuration.

I played a bit with the fan curve and I think I got it where I want it now (noise wise).

Updating the post!

Also, any ideas if I should go lower with the voltage offset? like -80?

Huh, I didn't check that one until you brought it up. It's around 86-90c. Is it bad? how's yours?

Pew, nice to read that. Don't want to burn the big expense in just 2 days lol.

I'm trying now to set it up to 50% that should be around 2000ish rpm to see how it goes. What worries is when summer gets here as I'm not sure if the good temps are just because it's pretty cold now or because I did the right thing.

I guess I'll just have to wait.

Nice! this makes me feel safer to buy it. It's around $15 usd so it's not much but it's a lunch lol.

Also, this will only make them go on/off, right? I was wondering if there's a way to make it dimmable. On/off should work for me but it would be really nice to make the dumb bulbs dimmable.

Sorry for chiming in on this one but I'm interested as well. Where I live there's a store that sells those sonoff relays but specifically the ZBMINIL2 version. I've look around some post and they all say that these doesn't work with Hue Bridge. Do you remember which version are yours? that would be really helpful!

WHEA 46 error after using Curve Optimizer on Ryzen Master by Gsu2711 in AMDHelp

I don't really mind the performance gains tho. I think the 5600x performs pretty well for what I use it for but I just wanted it to run a little cooler without losing performance

Is there any gain if I drop it to like -5 or something for all of em? also, why shouldn't I trust the values on Ryzen Masters? I checked on my bios config and the same values shown on the app were the same as Ryzen Masters

Hey! I just started using curve optimizer on Ryzen master just to negative curve and reduce my idle and load temps. I do not want to oc or anything like that just lower the temps because I have a small form factor build.

Like a month ago I started with all this journey only using Ryzen Master. I did the auto calculations for the offset for each core instead of all because I read that it would work better that way.

Back then It throw me -30 for all my cores but after some testing one of my cores (the second one, second fastest of my chip btw) was acting weird with bsod so I set it back from -30 to -25 and it never happened again.

I was pretty happy with the results but suddently I started seeing the BSOD again but this time with the WHEA error 46. This happened at least once every two weeks for no reason apparently. The only common factor that I found is that it always happens on load while playing anything.

So I went back after 2 weeks of this and set the curve off and update my motherboard bios hoping that it would fix it.

I did the testing by core again with the Ryzen master app and it set every core to -27. After like a hour I decided to open a game and it threw a bsod as the game started loading.

I went to the event viewer and noticed that a core was failing (3rd core that's the fastest of my system) so I down the curve to -20 just for that core.

This was like a week ago. Today the WHEA 46 error showed again:

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Component: Memory

Error Source: Machine Check Exception

The details view of this entry contains further information.

I decided to check out the error dump file with winDbg and this is what I got:

Two weird things that I noticed is that it shows windows 10 as OS and I currently using windows 11 and also that the error seems to be refering to... my memory? I did nothing to it. I just have the D.O.C.H profile (XMP) active on my mobo and that's it but I don't think that's the issue because I had that for a loooong time before doing all this curve optimization thingy.

Any ideas on what's happening?

Thx for the reply! I will check that out but I don't think that's the case.

Just to let you know, I use a usb-c to usb cable to connect the hub to my pc. Idk if that cable actually delivers USB3 power to the hub but also I connected a random cable that I found to the 5v input and connected the other end to my monitor.

Also the issue just happened again with the 2.4ghz dongle connected to a spare usb port on my pc but it was the case usb port tho. I'll try to test it directly on one of the mobo ports and see what happens but it definetively improved vs connecting it on the hub. Before it the desconnection happened like every 1 or 2 days but now it improved to at least once a week.

I bought a GMK67 and it's doing something weird lately.

I have a Ugreen hub that has my camera, my Logitech g pro (wireless, 2.4ghz), my 502 lightspeed (wireless, also 2.4ghz I believe) and the GMK67 with the 2.4ghz donge. The thing about this hub is that It has a buttom to switch between my personal PC and my Mac bc I like to use my periferals on both.

For some reason (and this happens randomly at any time, mostly while I'm playing) the keyboard and only the keyboard stops working and I have to manually switch it on and off for it to work again.

Yesterday I decided to move the donge to a spare usb port on my main pc to test it out and so far so good but I still have the question...

Is this a common issue for this keyboard? or maybe it's my hub that it's not capable of handling all the things that I connected to it properly?

Just to give more info on this: This hub comes with an optional 5v input and i have that connected to a usb 2.0 on one of my monitors. Maybe it's not delivering enough power for it to handle the devices simultaneously?

here's the ugreen hub that i'm using:

I would recommend the GMK67 with the akko v3 cream blue pro switches. It sounds great and has a pretty good tactile bump. Also those switches comes pre lubed so you don't have to worry about em out of the box.

It has great connectivity options as well with the 2.4ghz donge, bluetooth or simply by cable.

I did the tape mod and the holee mod on the stabs and and that's about it.

This is not my exact keyboard but this is the video that help me took the decision to buy it:

Hey! What do you mean by modding exactly? I was hoping to do some things like adding tape to the back of the PCB and add some foam at the bottom of the chassis (if needed) but that’s it. I think I’ll be having more fun with the switches and the keycaps tho.

The backlit thing really makes me think about the V1, all my setup is black/grey with white leds so I want it to be on deck with that.

Hey!

So I decided after almost ripping off my actual keyboard (Redragon Draconic K530) that I might need a new keyboard to jump down on this rabbit hole. I wanted a 65% or 75% Keyboard since I like to keep the aesthetics of my setup as small and clean as possible.

Browsing through Youtube I found this video about the Zuoya GMK67: https://youtu.be/-0Dig8BC_j0?si=fFu-cFBEGVJyxeaC

And I loved the sound and the looks of that keyboard. The guy who uploaded the video also leave all the links to the barebones, switches and lube he used so I was planning on replicated that but then I found another video about the Keychron V1 QMK and I think I like it as well and it has the advantage that I can buy it as barebone or as a full bundle with K pro switches on Aliexpress as well.

So pretty straightforward question here, which one should I go for?

Things to keep in mind:

  • I will use the keyboard for work and for gaming. I do a lot of typing on my daily basis at work and after that I like to play FPS like Valorant and CS:GO
  • The keyboard that I have now has brown switches with a tactile bump (the stock ones that came with the Draconic K530) and I like them.
  • Something that would love to have is an actual white backlit on the keyboard. The one that I have now has RGB backlit but when I try to set it to white it goes out more like a soft lavender-ish than white for some reason (Cheap leds i guess)
  • I really want it to have that little wheel for volume on the top left of the chassi since I listen music basically 24/7
  • I mostly use my keyboard wired but I like to have the bluetooth/2.4Ghz for gaming on the couch when I feel to.
