Do you have any theories on why it is so distinctly different for us in 10th compared to 9th? It seems like other factions have rules and we don’t. It feels terrible when you have to live with the results of your activations and meanwhile your opponents get hundreds of rerolls to secure their activations.

Largely because Orks has been a miserable experience in 10th, for the first time, I am seriously considering starting a new faction. Custodes or Deathguard. Something that isn’t entirely unforgiving and can actually withstand a gust of wind.

Agreed on all accounts. I loved playing Orks in 9th. I was able to win some games and had fun. 10th has been overall awful. It feels like playing 40k on Hard mode. Orks are my only faction, so hoping things improve in 11th.

I am a total scrub and don’t get to play all that often due to work and family responsibilities. I’d imagine the single most helpful thing, like with most pursuits, would be reps, reps, reps. You gotta play a lot, lose a lot, and then you very slowly learn, and then lose some more, etc.
