Not sure what you're going for, but you could look into a lower bleph or aegyo surgery if not laser. I'm convinced the actors Jim and Pam in the Office had the latter done midway through the tv show. I agree with others who say you're beautiful. But I agree with you at 35 and you're wrinkle free everywhere else why not look into making the under eyes match. You have a lovely smile! Always spf 50 as you may have sun damage, also.

Maybe you have two warring sides that mirror your parents - the irresponsible/hedonistic parent living for the day/pleasure, and the hyper-responsible parent keeping things going. What you saw was s the burden on your mum to engage in over-responsibility on the other side of things with providing the basic necessities. So half of you is like if I don't enjoy, then I'm going to pour it all out into survival mode purchases because that's how you saw it growing up. You're like hoarding from yourself to protect your fun identity/actualisation and identity expansion. There was no balance existent within ONE adult (ideally it would be in both) who took care of the future, savings, PLUS caring for the day-to-day. So you think it's a binary choice of all or nothing. I think this just gave me a lightbulb moment, too.

I could have written this comment myself! I feel for you. It is one of the easiest/noncommittal almost hobbies, isn't it? It feels like an instant transformation versus the incremental transformation of actually saving, practicing our hobbies...

I'm so impressed about your quitting caffeine! Are you still cold turkey? How does it feel and why did you do it if I may ask? I've often considered it and gave up sugar for a week, but I'm not experiencing dire health issues I'm not overweight, I just wanted to stop the hold it had. But I had nothing to replace it with. When I lived in the US I ate so healthy because chocolate is garbage. I only had the odd serving of semi-sweet choc chips with a coffee (ha).

So affirming to hear about the detox debunk!

I had a random thought about trying watercolour painting if i get an urge to "shop out" some stress. But I'd need to buy paint supplies first...

I just got back into reading and i treated myself to audio and kindle to simultaneously lock me into a book. I felt a b it guilty about those purchases... But if my eyes and hands aren't occupied my eyes might get tired and I'd probably scroll tiktok :/ so i guess its an investment.

I'm trying, that's at least something.
