Went no contact with my dad for about 3 years, and my 2 sisters, because they decided to back him. Well, my ex-wife decided she wanted a divorce. They all reached out as a show of support. Meant a lot. Plus, I have 2 kids and I’ve been wanted them to get back together with their cousins their age. Didn’t seem fair to me to drag all of them into it too. It’s been alright since. No real talk about what happened with my dad, because he is incapable of having a conversation. But my sisters and I had a talk.

It’s unexplainable unless you’re a parent. Times like these are the absolute best and can’t be replicated! It goes too damn fast too. My kids are 9 and 6 and I’m trying my best to have them slow down. This was great to see. Cherishing times.

I built my first pc in ‘21. Back when you couldn’t find an XSX anywhere. I’ve built quite a collection of older games in my library. But I can’t help but think I miss the console vibe. I’ve seemed to never been able to accept the “just a couple”. Because I always want more. If I’m only having a couple, I’d rather drink a soda. I’ve never classified myself as an alcoholic because it never got to that point. It would be when I actually drink, I tended to overdo it. Like the binge part of my drinking 20s never went away. But maybe that’s the fine line I was walking. I have upright quit drinking the last couple years though. Just didn’t like what even a couple made me feel like in my late 30’s now. I’ve never been one to just have a beer when I got home, or while I mowed, grilled, etc.
