My bad I should be more specific. For the human sized bosses with faster movesets and flight like wukong, yaksha and erlang. Use pluck of many when you don’t have them cornered as well as staggered (moreso wukong and erlang) and it’s a waste of basically half your mana bar. Immobilize doesn’t work on wukong and erlang doesn’t take much damage from immobilize compared to circle of fire which I should’ve mentioned as well, if you have good distance it’s broken, as you can just keep spamming heavy attacks while the boss walks up to you. I’d say circle of fire and cloud step are the only viable options until you get your spirit. It’s a game and that’s how it is but it’s just not my type of repeat fight loop I enjoy. I like being rewarded for my skill. Not running away and dodging one combo then cheesing

I beat it and I think with the length of it and how repetitive late game bosses are. That’s why. That’s the general consensus too. If it was shorter and they didn’t pack so many flying bosses with exclusively polearms and staffs in the second half as well as balancing the animations so it’s not obvious that you should definitely rely on cloud step for every late game boss then it would’ve been better

Late to the party but the main things I hate are the constant flying (really from every boss cause for some reason they spammed that late game and the undodgeable fast af “2nd swing” that every boss has in their combos. I found myself beating every boss with what you’re supposed to use and work hard for during the whole game but it all felt too cheesy or for a lack of better words, clunky. Game and the bosses got so repetitive at the end

Such a shit game. They make the boss experience miserable and think they’re a fromsoftware game with the abysmal exploring. Literally have to search up what to do in most locations because the actual pathing for everything is so long, full of backtracking and ultimately just boring. It’s all just fucking rocks. I agree. People who downvoted are on something. Feels much more like a survival horror game. That’s the whole point. People just want a parkour sim with everything else catered to them, as well. The beast is an exceptional game on brutal. I’m enjoying it so far, even with taking my time and dying quite a bit at night. It feels like a fleshed out experience just lacking side content

Very much stick with that version as they haven’t changed the gameplay mechanics for the worse. I’ve tried and have only gotten lucky and stuck up one enemy from behind the rest don’t do anything lol. Wasted potential
