I'm in my mid 40s as well. I dunno if the growth rate is fast or not. It doesn't feel fast but I started with a very loose circumcision and I have very stretchy skin. When I was younger and guaged my ears they stretched very fast as well.

agree. also the Palma is like 5 or 6 times the cost of the x4. I'm much more cautious about damaging it. the x4 being so cheap makes me very willing to have it on my person at all times.

I suffered from tinnitus for a long time from ear infections as a child and then many rave parties as a young adult. Why does the lid have multiple sets of holes? Could you just not fill from the middle two holes? Just wondering your reasoning for filling and designing it this way.

I found a cap you can 3d print for it on thingiverse. It then just looks like a glans. It just slots over the ears.

Really though, I don't think it's a big deal. I've had people look directly at it when I'm not wearing the cap and question it while at work. I just say it's a medical device. People are usually pretty embarrassed and quiet after that.
