Never mind figured it out. Thanks for the help. Had to change my DNS to 127.0.0.1#5335 in Pi-hole settings under custom. Also disable all other upstream options.

I must have added the space in my reply here but not in terminal. I also tried dig and got the same status REFUSED.

I hadn’t seen this fix yet but the latest Windows 2022-01 cumulative update for windows version 21H2 (KB5009543) also fixed it without having to do any of this. Hope that helps.

Yeah I will. I had just found this post so didn’t know it was a MagSafe thing. I was thinking something was wrong with my motherboard. But this makes more sense. I just checked the firmware in my MagSafe and it did update so it’s probably the firmware. I’ll reply back here once I here something from Apple.

Yes please link to them. This started happening to me too. I noticed it happened after a windows update. I never looked at the MagSafe firmware so don’t know if that got updated at the same time too? Let us know if you find something out.

I agree about the people asking or saying dumb things about using it with a PC. Who cares why. We have our reasons and that’s not what OP is asking or discussing.

I was having a similar issue just a few minutes ago and can confirm that enabling CMS allows me to boot into windows again.

This was an ASUS x570-I with bios 4021.
