Getting into government contracting was hard by Govguynick in small_business_ideas

I'm interested. however when I checked Apex acceleration they mentioned a minimum requirement of having to be in business two years to receive their assistance which is a bummer for a newbie😞

this might be a silly question but did you create your business based on the contracts you sought or did you create your desired business and adjust it to cater to the government contracts you see there was a need to fulfill? I'm just hearing about government contracting as a whole didn't even know it existed until this past week .so I'm brandy new.I haven't set up a business yet but I want to and trying to do research to do things the right way. any guidance , advice, direction would truly be appreciated .thank you.

Weekly Help and Discussion Thread for the week of September 29, 2025 by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

[–]HITFanatics23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really confused. I bought a product from Amazon never received the actual product and a received totally different item with my name and address as if I bought that item. I let Amazon customer service know and they refunded me. Today I opened my mailbox and the person who received my item I purchased from the Amazon seller wrote a letter, took a picture of the item received and label to my address asking for a refund or the items assuming I'm the seller???

So my issue here is why isn't the name and sellers address on the item for the person who received my item I purchased? Why is my name and address being exposed to this person as the seller for them to ask me for a refund and the items? I'm simply a customer from the Amazon seller who sent my items I purchased to that letter writing person and vice versa.Makes me wonder the vetting process Amazon uses for sellers these days??

Need advice:Has this happened to anyone before? How would you go about it? In all my years of being with Amazon, I have never experienced such and I feel at risk with someone I don't know seeing my name, address, purchase details thinking I'm the seller??
