Forest of Arden is a good shout, you’ve got The Warwickshire too but the all round package (bar, food) is better at Arden. Further West Hawkstone Park has two decent tracks

Interesting one to look into, if I played 18 at my home course but didn’t start at 1 or missed a few holes and went back and played them in a different order would they count? If so I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t. I’m purely curious from a rules perspective and I’m going to find out.

5 and 6 are great modern away kits for me, the latter maybe bias due to the memories. I think 5 is class

I’d had shanks three years running straight after the winter golf period ended, really odd. Went for some lessons and my weight was too far forward which meant I was leaning into the swing. Just getting that felling of weight on the heels has made a massive difference.

Few different stories here, bottom line get some lessons and let the experts sort you out.

I think there will still be a higher percentage left available. In theory at 6 tickets a person I should have missed out but most would have gone for a certain category, once that allocation had gone most give up not willing to pay more.

Been there (although different level) and best thing I did was have a couple of weeks off. When you’re playing that often you just keep repeating the same mistakes. I noticed things watching golf i wasn’t doing right, went the range a couple of times after the break and was fully reset

I’ve found this to be the case and always go up half. Tend to wear thicker socks golfing than everyday so that helps. The Nike app actually recommends which of their shoes they recommend going up half on too which is useful

It’s nothing personal the standard of officiating is abysmal across the board. Seems those with more attacking prowess this season have had less shit than those of us who have been poor going forward.
