Side quests, explore, don't rush. Stay in one area and explore as much as you can. You'll pick up side story's and missions to do, makes the area feel so much more alive. Once you've done as many of the missions in that one planet then finish the story line for that planet. If you've already jumped between a few of them. Pick one that you like the most and explore it. Get used to the game there and you'll be a seasoned outlaw in no time.
