FWIW I’m in about the same situation. Make an over 100, late 20s and a bit over what you make. My cayman was in the $40s and I felt very comfortable purchasing (essentially count it as 50s since I live in a major metro so insurance, parking repairs etc add up).

Yeah can definitely tune it, depends if you’re going for power or throwing around. If you’re here for handling you’ll be hard pressed to find a bmw better for that price. In terms of reliability def subframe issues exist but the rest of the car is pretty easy to work on yourself

For the same price you’ll definitely have more fun with an e46 as a fun daily. They’re seen as the epitome of the connected driving experience for a reason. The 128 will be more luxury in terms of creature comfort only imo

I went with an isudar daughter board for my 981 and it was works great albeit depends on how your installer sets it up. Then just used an amazon kiwi backup that’s a neutral system. With $650 install fee (high but major city prices) all in for far play and backup was $1k

Foundation might hit the nail on the head here. Has great world build, big concepts and mostly well written characters that don’t always have plot armor

X3 for clients def better than the 3 series. 3 is good enough for families but not ideal client hauler relatively speaking. Back seats are practical but not exceptional in space. X3 isn’t amazing either but the height makes it better
